The Way Hugo played the 10 points after being 0-3 in last game was perfection !! When he got to match point he seemed to freeze and at10-9 up I believed he would of lost the match if he hadn't won that point!! So glad he did!!! Hope he wins tomorrow as it will be good for table tennis if Hugo wins the world championship!!!

First of all I think Hugo, LJK and their coaches are just a lil bit better qualified than you. Second - you must be really stupid to say LJK is bad at tactics.

Hugo hammered every fkng ball and it landed on the table and LJK won 4 more point in the match. You blind or wut?

No I am not blind, you have to realize that the pro players are not some uber smart tacticians than everyone elese. TT is really simple, and when liang jingkun is losing 1-0 in sets and keep making easy serves for hugo to attack, then you can see foryourself he is not the smartest guy out there.

Hugo hammered every fkng ball because liang fed them easy.

the only reason hugo won by 11 to 9 is that he kept missing easy balls and was too eager to attack secure balls from LJK. LJK didnt made an extraordinary comeback like people like to believe. He just fed the ball back to the table with 100 % security, no initiative, no attack, no variation.


I am quite sure your next comment will be something like " LJK FORCED hugo to make mistakes" . Yeah. sure.

What's everyone's prediction for the mens final? WCQ seems playing better than back in Macau. I hope Hugo gets enough rest before the final.

What WCQ needs to do to be Hugo is stay level-headed and really steal that first attack. Hugo is so dangerous with his power that WCQ cannot afford to give him any look in for his power shots

This going to restroom for shirt change between matches when someone is 0:2 down should be banned. This is pretty unfair to other players. Changing your shirt on the court like Hugo is not inappropriate. I don't know why no professionals complain about it. Would FZD have lost to HT if he did not go to the restroom after game 2? Who knows, but FZD came back and won the match at the end.

At the world cup it was also a 4-3 victory before the finals so it’s likely not gonna be lack of energy problems. If he plays like he did today and WCQ is not in top form he’s gonna win if WCQ is also in an impeccable form I don’t see Hugo winning.

In the current form WCQ will likely outpace Hugo. Just look at how WCQ killed Truls lobs, not only hitting hard but also hitting very early, with crazy angle. Hugo is 28yo, would be hard to handle long distance rallies against a top form WCQ.

I hope Hugo has prepared and rested well.

TT players are way too kind for their own good. I can understand if they are Asian, but to think Europeans would do the same is beyond me.

This is true. Hugo was tight there. He missed easy balls coz he couldn't hold his nerve, and it had nothing to do LJK. Likely Hugo was having a PTSD, lol, or he just couldn't wait to end the game earlier that got him tight.

Truls is a great player and one of my favorites but he doesn't have Hugo quality or power. Maybe the only thing he is better at than Hugo is control but not by much. If Hugo gets those rallies that Truls got, Hugo will win many more than Truls did because he is more powerful than Truls. In fact Wang is not a better rally player than LJK. The thing is that Wang requires you to lose to his shots early in the point most of the time. But Hugo usually doesn't back down he counters shots with interest so a lot sill depend on who gets the edge in serve and receive far more than usual. I dont believe yhat the CNT would have found something wrong with Hugo and not given the info to LJK so tomorrow will be about effort.
