Is there a way to watch the whole final without subscribing?
I was disappointed that the game wasn’t shown live on Youtube like the previous matches for those of us who don’t live in Germany.

I’m uncertain whether those of us could of subscribed to Dyn Sports anyway if it’s region locked to Germany. Wanted to see Hugo and Simon last game for their team.

What is Ochenhausen going to do without Calderano and Gauzy? Though to be fair, Ilzuka and Tiago Abiodun will eventually be extremely strong.
Based on their web site they have contracted very young new players - Andreas Levenko and Iulian Chirita. Then there is Shunsuke Togami.
Not sure if this enough to defend their title(s), but who knows.

It's not possible for the club to replace them short term, they'll have to do the same as back when they first got them and build up young talents again. Togami is ready for a leading role, getting Chirita is decent, probably planned as nr 2. Then i suspect there is going to be much rotation, whoever is showing progress, but it will take time to get back to title contenders i reckon. Having Hugo and Simon still part of the training group could help the development though.

I wonder if Hugo will remained registered, so he could maybe play an odd game here and there

That makes 2 months germans and french TT players know Simon Gauzy is back in France. And he won't train in the Liebherr academy that much or only with France's squad for WTTC, WTTTC, Olympics, etc. He still trains there for now because of his wife and son still living in Ochsenhausen, but as soon as he'll find the right home in Brittany for his family, game over.

That's why I've always told ya french people know better than you about french TT, and german people about german TT.

Basically Simon wants to be back in France to have his brother Paul as his personal coach: between Lorient (GV Hennebont) and Nantes where Paul is, there's not much kilometers. And also to be near his parents in Toulouse.

The Bundesliga has too much restrictive laws, that one specially about not being allowed to play for 2 different leagues organised by ITTF associations. That one France has decided to withdraw, because of the Jura-Morez drama and the ever growing number of french pros playing outside of France to make a living in Saudi arabia, the MLTT, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Sweden,....

And the same for you about American TT which you feel compelled to speak on despite being completely ignorant about it. But more seriously, if in three years, Coton and/or Poret are able to replace Gauzy on the Olympic team. will you keep quiet and forever hold your peace and stop saying stupid things? Will you leave this site for good and not return with new handles after being banned? Will you stop posting racist things about China?

Hugo isn't going to play in another league though. He is quitting league for now, but he could still be registered. It's a common practice here to do that even if you know someone won't play.
