On MYTT, a very high level pro and coach (now long retired) argued that Fan Zhendong would lose his level when he plays in Germany. My response to him applies to Zhu Yuling, I think: when the best player in the world loses his/her level, he/she just becomes one of the best players in the world.

Oh, home court is home court, it doesn't always produce positive results but it is what it is. Togami almost choked that game away, but I guess his winning streak fortified him. But that level of choking is not a good sign for him, hopefully he will do better for his own sake. Serving off the table twice in a row? Seriously?

Togami was right to think he should've left it to Harimoto at WTTC 2025. Poor Harimoto got robbed of a potential MS medal.

So thank you, Togami, for reinforcing my analysis. Shinozuka's win over Jorgic was much more convincing, also in Slovenia, where the latter threw his racket at the floor afterward.

watch this game reveal major problem in Togami's mentality, he's just to burning and ended up burned out. 3rd game 7-1 to 17-15, even made 3 service error and one cost the 4th set. His technique has improved yes but he can't seem to calm himself down, excessive shouting won't help when the thing he should be worry about is the next point

Well, there is always another tournament. I am not as down on Togami as you are, and I was more happy for Darko because these events need their home champions to keep the crowd extra engaged. While Togami has dominated the results, the matches have always been close. He was due with the home court IMHO. He gets a much tougher assignment in his next match.

And I might finally get the match(es) I wanted to see for a while - Hugo vs the current Lebruns.

there's no rob, Harimoto done has 4 game points at the 3rd set and got overtake, he need an overhaul on his forehand and footwork before talking about any potential here
