No, I mean 3 events. The critical factor will be Harimoto. It's difficult for SYS and WMY to hang around until Brisbane 2032, when KM will be 28 and Harimoto 24. KM will need the Olympic singles experience if no one else comes through and it's very clear the CNT is honing KM to handle 3 events. Couple that with my prediction that ZYL's style could make a comeback.

Understood, though in my experience, some of these things have precedents that you don't know because you are only privy to what is on camera. In any case, ultimately, what most fans judge by is the results, their quibbles with process are just scapegoating. Not saying that is the case here as I am of the opinion that coaches in team events should refuse player overrides more often. Just reiterating that in the end, it is on the player to perform. China has the better players in .most matches and that explains their dominance, not the brilliance of timeouts.

Hina definitely needed a timeout after serving off the table at 9-7 in the 4th. But the timeout was already used.

Like Ito, Hayata can't even play the role of 3rd singles well against the easiest opponent. The gold content of those medals Ito and Hayata have earned over WYD will keep depreciating...

It is what i also mean when I say mental issues are often technical issues or limtations just viewed through the story telling lens by lay viewers.

Yes, sound technical capacity can loosen up quite a lot of mental demand. Ma long is a perfect example with highest winning ratio while he himself thought his mental toughness was something he could improve during an interview in Waldner cup.

No chance for a team with no unity. Nakazawa and JTTA still have not addressed the outcry from WTT CS Yokohama 2025. The longer the controversy is left to die down itself, the farther the team spirit will drift away.
