Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls....... Members of the TTD Community and beyond......

I am beyond excited to be able to share that we have secured a date and venue for the first ever TTD global community meet up!

After many weeks of discussion, the amazing people at Borussia Düsseldorf have allowed us to use their facilities for the weekend.

If anyone doesn't know, Borussia Düsseldorf is the PREMIER Table Tennis venue in all of Europe - You'll recognise it from some of the videos Dan and TTD have done with previous superstars such as Timo Boll and Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

We are now in the planning stage for how the weekend will look, but below is the current outline:

Friday 11th: Arrive in Düsseldorf and see either a Bundesliga match or an exhibition match in the evening.

Saturday 12th: Split into 2 halves.

AM - TTD Forum practice/knock/challenges.
PM - TTD to film a video with the forum and wider Düsseldorf population (various challenges etc).
Evening - TTD Forum Meal and Drinks

Sunday: The first ever TTD Forum Tournament - A fun event for bragging rights only

We will add a Google Form to this post in the coming days where people can register their interest. For now, please DM me.

Note - Spaces WILL be limited (number to be confirmed), but it's likely to be around 40 people.

If you'd like to come, please drop me a DM asap and I'll add you to the list.

For those of you who have already messaged, you don't need to message again unless you can't come.

I can't wait to see you all, and if anyone has any questions, please let me know!

Edit - Accommodation at Borussia Düsseldorf is full, so people will need to book their own hotel and flights etc.

As we get closer to the event, a full itinerary will be published of times etc.

No, we won't be organising that.

People will need to get their own way there and back, plus book accommodation.

Note (for everyone) - There is limited accommodation at Borussia Düsseldorf which is a great option for people wanting to stay in the venue!

Currently, the event will cost.... £0 for TTD forum members!

I will need to make a few things more certain, but I live pretty close to the ferry dock at Hoek van Holland. If there are UK people that want to go with the overnight ferry and carpool from there, maybe we can work something out?

We need to be mindful of numbers - I'm speaking to the venue to see just how many we can accommodate.

I've already had almost 25 people say they want to come!

Haha, so….. nothing is confirmed, and it’s still early days (plus the Bundesliga schedule doesn’t come out until the summer).

But conversations have already begun, and we are hoping to get 1 or more past/present superstars down!
