Ankur eliminates Chen Y - interesting that both Chen's get eliminated so China has Wang, Lin, Xiang and Zhou (who all finished first). Japan has everyone go through but Harrimoto and Tanaka second. WCT is a character for sure, beats the C and D players 3-2, 3-2 and A player Harimoto 3-1. Liu Guodong earned his paycheck for sure.

SYS has a huge chance of finally winning the Asian Cup, since WMY would probably be severely depleted (WYD, Hashimoto, Miwa/CXT) even if the latter manages to get through everyone in her half.

WCT may turn out to be the biggest blocker for WCQ, or if Tomo decides to finally show up.

Thanks for this. So he did change to 09c on forehand and backhand. I recalled he said his stroke does not suit sticky rubber in an interview. Very interesting. His forhand
Is looking way stronger and spinier with 09C

Shin has a really strong strategy vs Honoka... but somehow Honoka managed to take game 2 and the lead... but this will come down to execution because Honoka doesn't look good when Shin is pounding Honoka's forehand and moving her out of position to set up misdirections.

Win or lose, Kim Nayeong is looking like she's S. Korea's best women's player
didn’t you rather mean “she’s is the best looking S Korea women’s player…”

Well everyone has its tastes. It’s debatable

For TT skills SYB seems still quite above to me but maybe her motivation is a bit down right now. It’s normal WTTC singles is next year only and Olympics further away.
