That's what I meant - WS (like in the quote or Hirano's first win over SYS compared to Hayata's 17 consecutive losses with the first one being a junior event), not junior events. WTT has also started keeping junior and team results out of H2H for senior events (that they used to count).

I have to side with Poret on this one. Poret was actually in the receive stance when Uda suddenly goes up to the front of the table and wipes his hand on the table. Poret then does the same as players usually do. Awful call by the umpire.

I actually think it was a good call by the umpire for time wasting. Poret didn't have to wipe his hand just because Uda did it. If Uda was delaying, he would have received a yellow card anyway. Just because players do it regularly doesn't mean it's allowed. The umpire has to keep control of the tempo. Umpires usually turn a blind eye to it because they understand the tension of the game at that moment, but in this case the umpire simply followed the rules.

I think it's time that someone during a match would call the umpire against opponent's disturbing noises.
I know it's difficult to decide if it's grunting or noise/voice....but something has to be done before whole thing turns into a stereo madness.

Talking serious, it could really become a "tactic", as the game is so fast that I can hear the opponent's noise right when I'm performing my shot. And that's unfair.

I got one also against the annoying habit of hand wiping....but I keep it for another thread
