What kind of comments are those? Like what do they most negatively talk about the blade? The reviews are generally pretty negative on the Chinese sites like bilibili and baidu tieba
Blade's too stiff, no spin, you have to brush a lot to make spin yourselfWhat kind of comments are those? Like what do they most negatively talk about the blade?
If you are talking about the red Original Carbon, did somebody compare it to Viscaria or ZJK ALC?Blade's too stiff, no spin, you have to brush a lot to make spin yourself
I've only seen standalone reviews so farIf you are talking about the red Original Carbon, did somebody compare it to Viscaria or ZJK ALC?
The blades are certainly stiff - I have now played both. I would not however say they lack in spin - both are exceptionally good to spin with in my experience and both feel very good, with the Koto outer feeling sharper and a little more linear.Blade's too stiff, no spin, you have to brush a lot to make spin yourself

DONIC ZHANG JIKE TRUE CARBON
It stands out through its premium craftsmanship, outstanding quality, and exceptional playing characteristics.www.donic.com
Stc is spread-tow carbon, essentially means it's woven with the fibers spread out flat rather than bundled as little ropes.Interesting that they used Textreme+ carbon. If I'm not mistaken, that is the same one Stiga uses on Dinasty Carbon.
Not sure though if its just carbon, or carbon + another fiber (probably the later, since they abbreviated to STC - I guess the "S" indicates the fiber name?)
Thanks, didn't know that.Stc is spread-tow carbon, essentially means it's woven with the fibers spread out flat rather than bundled as little ropes.
The result is a very thin fiber. Textreme is a brand name that does this
Thanks, didn't know that.
Not that common to use pure carbon nowadays
Oh I'm aware, I visited Sergio's page a few years back, very useful indeed
