Yea I agree but they make the same mistakes with team selection by selecting Togami over Hiroto for 3rd spot.

I think this is now 2nd time in team matches that Togami has lost against LSD in a row. 3rd or 4th time now if you include Singles matches as well.

It is an impossible task but the funny thing is that if anyone can do it, it is Harimoto. But Japan threw away 2 chances there, though the second chance was never really there, Togami just couldn't play from 7-4 in game 3.

Togami has a better record vs LSD than Hiroto. He is also the third highest ranked player in Japan. It is not as easy as you think it is.
