WC and WTC may be easier to win but for the public they are more important than pro tours.
Its better to totally change the playing system of world cup and let more players to be there but deleting it is not a good idea.

I agree the WC playing system, or rather qualification system needs to improve.
But whats the purpose of having a world cup, if you already have a world championship?

Why not just call it an ITTF Cup or something like that. Why call it "world", where there is already a world championship for almost a century.
I'm not saying deleting titles in a year, but seperating where we have 1 world title and few major titles in a year.
So you can only have 1 world champion, and that is the winner of a WTTC.
I won't mind having a WTTC every year, as I think that is better for the sport than oppose to teams event.
I also think TT should be focus on players and not focus on country

Its better to let WTC be there. So there is a team competition every year.

Well, WTC is not every year, so thats your first disagreement with the current structure lol (I thought you work for ITTF or something lol)

But then, some countries (aka Germany, Korea 2013, Japan 2011) send a 2nd string team (and only 3 and 4 players and not 5 compared to other teams or WTTTC)
PS what the different between Classic and Cup - both are WTC, just some times its called classic, some is called cup

It is to give opportunity and more chances to win for players from other countries since the chinese are sweeping away almost all of the titles while others have no chance thanks to their fantastic training regime.

Then it sure aint working lol
Unless China don't participate or sends in a 2nd string team (mind you that the 2nd string may still win).
But then that will lead to another issue on how people will view/value the competition with top players missing.

Regarding this fantastic training regime.
So much improvement has been made, regarding the migration of training personells to all parts of the world.
Surely the training structure can not be 100% duplicated, but most countries already have over 50%, and some close to 80% (mostly in Asia) on what Chinese is doing.
I'm sure, its only a matter about time where we will see more and more non Chinese coming up.
Only sad thing I see currently is how slow Europe is improving, with only a few candidates (out of such a big continent with a long history in the sport).

I also don't know with the CTTA sponsored Chinese Training Centere in England is not up and runner yet :(

The problem with WC and WTC is their names. The are "world events" but the are not at the level of pro tours.
About WC, We are all agree that ITTF should change the qualifying system or at least change the name of it to "Gold Cup" or something like this.
About WTC, i can't understand why China send their A team but some other countries don't. If it is so important that China come up with it's best players then other countries should do the same.
Or maybe China come there just for fun!

Yep, that is what Ive been saying all along.
WC/WTC clearly is not a world title event by evidence/debate, but has a world title in its name.
This clearly lowers the value of table tennis as a sport

IE - our Table Tennis World Team Cup has 2nd string players playing, as the main players are not there.....This is a huge embarasement to the sport I must say.
So either do it properly or don't do it at all. If it is a micky mouse tournament, then please use another name.

But other than that, there is still no proper explantion why there is cup and championship events....
