I noticed as I searched the web that DHS sells it Skyline TG 2 as a topsheet only or a NEO version with sponge.

I want to know if anyone has used the Skyline TG 2 as a pips-out rubber,or any other Chinese type(tacky) rubber as a pips-out rubber.

If anyone has, please comment/share your experience on how it feels, etc.

It will be interesting to know how it fairs in a game situation.

What do you mean? How can you use it for pips-out rubbers? You mean changing the top sheet side or what?

Firstly, that is illegal to do.
Secondly, DHS top sheets aren't really available to the commercial market - becareful of fakes

Also from design point of view, that is a very silly thing to do.
Better off to by legal and proper pip out rubbers.

Well, I haven't heard about this being done ever before.
Only recall once about 16 years ago when a new player though pip outs rubber was an inverted outside down, and wanted to take out the sriver sponge and make it a sriver pip out. Obviously I was there to stop him.

Firstly, that is a Pips In rubber and registered as so. It is not registered as Pips Out , so already that is illegal
Secondly, rubber label is not shown on the surface area (because you have the topsheet up side down), that again is illegal

Now why do you want to take a TG2 out of all rubbers to make pip outs?

Why would you do this, when there is so much pips out rubbers out there? Maybe you could only do it with dead rubbers but I don't know, aren't the pimples too short?

Besides short, I think it is too soft too.
For fun, maybe its worth a try

I highly doubt any one has done it.
It is not designed for it, so why would any one want to do that?
Its like taking a pips out rubber and gluing it on a sponge and using it as a inverted
Just doesn't make sense

DHS loose topsheet is designed to be glue with speical sponges and used as a normal inverted rubbers.
Its common with many Chinese brands where you can buy loose topsheets or sponges, but it is not commercially available, mostly specially ordred only.
Some places (stores), can allow you custom purchase special top sheet with specific sponges

Where did you see that DHS is selling loose?
