I want an off+ blade as i am probably don't have as strong hitting power as everyone else here so i want the blade with the best feeling-speed ratio. I found joola rossi force; that is fast but still has a lot of control. And also it ia reduced to 40 pounds from 80. Woth my 20 percent off it means i can get it for 32 pounds.
So I will give this one more try.
If you want more power, if you want to improve and generate more power, if you want your strokes to improve so that the ball goes faster and you have more power:
THEN YOU WANT TO BE USING A BLADE THAT IS BETWEEN ALL+ AND OFF- or at the highest, an Offensive rated blade at the low end of the Off speed like a Stiga Offensive Classic. That would be one of the fastest blades you should get.
Here is the theory on this: if you use an Off+ blade because you want more speed and you cannot generate the speed yourself, the blade's speed will cause you to modify your stroke so that you, Perhaps, get the ball on the table, BY CUTTING DOWN YOUR STROKE. You will not be completing your stroke. Your mechanics will get worse. You will get that stroke that is worse into muscle memory. And then it will be so much harder (really ALMOST impossible) to improve your stroke.
So in the end, you won't end up with a ball that is going much faster because you will not be able to handle the speed of the blade which will cause you to change your stroke and make it smaller to try to get the ball on the table. You will not even know you are doing this. You won't realize it is happening. And as you start being able to keep the ball on the table your stroke will have gotten worse and the ball speed won't have changed that much.
With an Off+ blade you will never learn to time the weight transfer and the hip rotation with the forearm snap. And that is what gets you more power.
I have a friend who is USATT rated 2550 who uses the Stiga Allround Evolution. His ball is powerful and he can put it past anyone.
I don't know too many pros who use Off+ blades. Most use blades in the Off speed rating category. Not faster. There are a few exceptions. Then there is my friend who is using the Evolution blade who is an exception in the other direction. But every pro I know can get tons of power from that Allround Evolution blade.
If I was you I would be more concerned with improving my mechanics than with getting the fastest blade on the market.
But, if you don't get this, then go ahead, go for an Off+ blade. By all means. I know 4 high level players who are sponsored by Joola. 2 of them use the Fever and 2 of them use the Viva. I can say the Viva feels better in many ways because it has more control and more feeling. But the Fever is a darn good blade. Rossi Force, all I can say about it is, I don't know anyone who uses it and none of the people I know who get free products from Joola use it. So I have no idea about how it plays. But I do know this. I don't like most of the Joola blades I have tried that much. I do like the Viva and the Fever. They are good blades even if they are too fast.
You have an idea in your head of what you want and not much is going to change that. So go ahead and get what you want. But the reality of the situation is, you probably are looking at things in a bit of the wrong way.
Rather than this forum, why don't you go to a local pro. Take a couple of lessons and ask him what equipment would be best for you so that you could develop and improve. I know the rubbers it says you are using may not be the best, but that blade you are using is a GREAT BLADE and does not need changing. I am not sure how you arrived at that blade in the first place but somehow you got a good blade for developing your game.
That blade should be good until you are at about the level of an EXPERT PLAYER: USATT rating of 2100-2200 approximately. If you are not at that level, you should probably stick with what you have or get:
Butterfly Primorac Off-
Or one step up:
Stiga Offensive Classic
Butterfly Petr Korbel
You could also get:
Nittaku Accoustic (a bit more expensive but worth the price).
Or, you could get the Der_Echte special: Yinhe Galaxy 896 blade ($16.00 USD but an excellent blade, especially for the price).
Truthfully, I would say, keep your blade and just get high quality rubbers. But you are going to do what you want. Which means you probably did not really want advice. You just wanted someone to tell you you were right or something.
So go get yourself a Joola Fever. The other Joola blade that costs less may be okay but it may really suck. The numbers that the companies put up are marketing and not real. There really is no such thing as a blade that is Off++ with 98% control and 99% spin. The Joola Fever is definitely in the quality range of a Timo Boll ALC which, even if it is way too fast for you, is at least an Excellent, EXCELLENT blade.
