  1. Suggestion for slight BH rubber upgrade

Hi everybody, thanks a lot for your suggestions and advices. I guess then I'll start with increasing the thickness of the Nittaku Factive from 1.8 to 2.0. If this won't bring the wished improvements I´ll go for another rubber. Has anybody here played the Factive in 2.0? Hope the fantastic...
  2. Butterfly Tenergy 19

Last evening I was able to test the Tenergy 19 in 1.7 on my backhand. Wood: Donic True Carbon Inner (Innerforce, All+/Off-). Actually, I had no hope that this would be of interest because I always thought that these rubbers were far too demanding. But I was surprised that the thin rubber in 1.7...
  3. Suggestion for slight BH rubber upgrade

I've really enjoyed playing the Nittaku Factive on the backhand in 1.8 so far this year. The overall properties have always impressed me. Fairly moderate basic speed, little catapult, not really spin sensitive. Great at blocking, both active and passive, but opening bh Topspin on backspin also...
  4. Xiom Vega Pro and Vega Europe - Still a good combination?

Thank you very much to all of you. Which type of player do you guess fits the best to the Xiom Vega Europe on backhand side? What are the strengths and weaknesses of this rubber?
  5. Xiom Vega Pro and Vega Europe - Still a good combination?

Hey, thank you both for your opinions. This sounds really good, especially the "control" aspect mentioned. As I said, backhand is my weaker side, even with USATT around 1900 ;-) I think something with a 47.5 sponge is too hard for my weaker backhand. Any further opinions and recommendations ?
  6. Xiom Vega Pro and Vega Europe - Still a good combination?

Hi together, regarding the current summer break I plan to try out some new rubbers for the new season. I am a an experienced player (GER Rating around 1600+, I guess US rating 1900+), plying offensive play on both sides. Forehand is my stronger side, mostly plying attacking balls like...
  7. New Allround (+) 5-ply blade - Which one to choose?

Thank you very much for the detailed information. So, I guess, I should choose the one that fits best in my hands, because the playing characteristics are nearly the same ?
  8. New Allround (+) 5-ply blade - Which one to choose?

Thank you everyone for your feedback and opinions. The Yasaka Sweden Extra was mentioned a lot from you. While reading, I can see that a lot of users recommend this blade. Sadly I don’t know anybody using it in my area. What are the differences between the Yasaka Sweden extra and the other...
  9. Donic Bluestorm Big Slam / Z3 vs. Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX

Hi togehter, currently I am interested in the Donic Bluestorm Big Slam or Z3 rubbers. Has anyone tried them yet and is able to give a feedback? What do you think are the differences to the Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX rubber. All of them use an 42.5 degree sponge. I am looking for a new backhand...
  10. New Allround (+) 5-ply blade - Which one to choose?

Lately I played Butterfly Petr Korbel OFF (5-ply) or Butterfly Innerforce ALC.
  11. New Allround (+) 5-ply blade - Which one to choose?

Hi everyone, The reason I am looking for a downgrade of my current blade (off blades) is to become safer and get more balls on the table in match play. My style of play: Forehand dominant, topspin opening on backspin as quickly as possible, and direct follow-up to the point. Backhand all-round...
  12. Slow blade with fast rubbers vs. Fast blade with slow rubbers

Thank you all for sharing your experiences and opinions. Are there any further opinions, pros and cons?
  13. Slow blade with fast rubbers vs. Fast blade with slow rubbers

Hi, from the point of view of a controlled offensive player, I ask myself which of the combinations fundamentally brings more control and security into the game: 1) a fast, offensive blade such as fast carbon blades or very fast all wood blades, which are then combined with moderate, rather...
  14. Tibhar Evolution FX-D

Hello everyone, Has anyone ever tried the FXD on the forehand instead of the ELD? I've now tested the ELD a few times on the forehand and I really think the rubber is really nice for an offensive, forehand-oriented looping game. The only thing that unfortunately happens more often in my game is...
  15. New Blade - time to get familiar with?

What personal experiences do you have, how long does it take for you, to get used to a new blade? The specific case is as follows: About two months ago a friend loaned me the Butterfly Innerforce ALC for testing, weight 87g. I glued my rubbers on it and after 1-2 hours I played very well with...
  16. Dignics 09c vs tenergy 05 on fh an dignics 80 on bh

Is it much besser to use on the BH, especially if the BH is the weaker side and a mix of active and passive play is important on BH?
  17. Tenergy 19 vs Tenergy 80 - What's the difference?

    Thank you. Any further experiences?
  18. Tenergy 19 vs Tenergy 80 - What's the difference?

I would also attach my situation to this topic here. At the moment, I am looking for a new backhand rubber, and I am interested to test T19 oder T80 on my backhand. Playing style: offensive on both sides, but very FH orientated. FH I play T05 in 2.1, very satisfied. Wood: BTY Korbel all-wood...
  19. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

Hello everyone, I got my Glayzer (the normal one) in 2.1mm on Friday and was able to test it for about 8-10 hours over the three days. I tested it on two of the same blades (five-ply Butterfly Korbel), against the Tenergy 05 on the forehand and then against the Rozena on the backhand. Here are...
