  1. New Andro NUZN 48 and 45

These are slightly different rubbers altogether, not just the same with a softer sponge, hence the more attractive price. They use the same technology, but in a more amateur-friendly interpretation. I like this approach, because there´s more thinking involved in which player level needs what...
  2. Alternative Blade to Butterfly Primorac Carbon Off+

No difference. Butterfly got rid of the "+" and "-" a while ago, so the Primorac Carbon is now "OFFENSIVE" instead of "OFF+" and the Primorac all wood blade for example is also "OFFENSIVE" and no longer "OFF-".
  3. Upgrading from tensor to hybrid rubber

Basically it is the combination of a topsheet with "Chinese" pimple geometry (mostly to some degree sticky) and a dynamic "Tensor" sponge, to rival a boosted Chinese rubber. Simplified, of course, but this "best of both worlds" approach was sometimes used in the marketing as well. As on top...
  4. New fh rubber

If someone says a rubber doesn´t pair well with a certain blade it is their personal taste more than anything. So if someone says R53 isn´t good on Viscaria that means that´s true for them, which is ok. If on the other hand someone says it´s a great combination - like I do - it´s also true for...
  5. Upgrading from tensor to hybrid rubber

That, and the question why such "upgrade" would be desired. I´m saying this because the properties can be substantially different and while some people love it regardless of their playing level the opposite can also be true - there are players on low levels who think Hybrid rubbers are their...
  6. 1.Bundesliga Women Germany 2024/2025

I thought so, too. Often it seems doubles are put together rather casually, because you have to play, but then they don´t really know how. Kolbermoor might want to think about this, going out 0-4 in both matches. Also, it is difficult to watch Gotsch, the best player in the league for many...
  7. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

Among all the Hybrid rubbers it feels the closest to a regular Tensor rubber like Rasanter. Thankfully, it also has their durability, which is sensational for a Hybrid. There is a thread for the NUZN rubbers with a lot of praise, not only mine ;-)
  8. Spinniest ESN rubber?

Yes, that´s what most of the pro players of the respective companies use. These are the "more skilled hands" I was referring to above, and little wonder they´d use the rubbers with the biggest potential. Fpr Donic and Xiom pros the Bluegrip C2 and J&H C55 mentioned would be the weapon of choice.
  9. Spinniest ESN rubber?

And that is the only point. Your example is good, you obviously felt it easier to achieve a certain amount of spin with the Rakza. For a majority of players it would be easier to go that way, instead of going for the rubbers with the biggest potential (in more skilled hands) and fail to...
  10. Best 47-47.5 degree backhand rubber?

Same here, on my backhand they´d both work, but I prefer not to play hybrid (except for Andro NUZN) because they deteriorate too quickly and a little catapult effect never hurt no-one.
  11. Best 47-47.5 degree backhand rubber?

I usually play the same rubber on FH and BH, so for me there is no "forehand rubber" or "backhand rubber", it´s all rubber ;-) I find it more accurate than Rakza, that´s all I can say. Spin probably better. But I can´t give any ratings.
  12. Best 47-47.5 degree backhand rubber?

Aurus Prime resembles Rasanter R47. Same sponge hardness, same "thin topsheet and extra thick sponge" concept.
  13. Best 47-47.5 degree backhand rubber?

It´s less lively than Rasanter for example, but like all others mentioned not a bad choice. What you could try is a softer rubber, which will not necessarily produce more spin, but will make it easier to access higher spin levels. I don´t know about prices where you are, but over here Rakza is...
  14. Best 47-47.5 degree backhand rubber?

I consider Rakza 7 a nice and friendly rubber, often recommended because it´s easy to play. For more spin with nearly identical sponge hardness I would recommend Rasanter R47, or you might try tenergy 05 - both very probably less easy to play. At the end of the day, what jk1980 said about more...
  15. Victas Swat Spin rubber (made in Japan)

Yeah. But so many people do not play today´s game ;-) That what professionals will tell you about adjustments to be made and equipment to be changed is quite irrelevant for seasoned players in lower leagues, hence Sriver and co still being around. And without a technical adjustment different...
  16. Wrong thickness - Stiga Platinum 2.3 H

I guess it´s safe to say it is not a common problem, because if it happened more frequently the forums would be full of such stories. However not all rubbers have their thickness indicated on the sponge so sometimes such mishap might go unnoticed.
  17. Benedikt Duda, new Rubber?

The truth is very simple. Sponge in selected hardness temporarily unavailabe in white, so yellow was used instead. (according to someone who works for Victas) It´s the same rubber after all.
  18. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

    Excellent choice.
