I am exactly the same with my FH. I have gone from H3 neo blue, 09C and G1 at the moment. The H3 (spin, serve) and the G1 (like attacking) are my preferred FH as well. I have heard some people use the Nitakku version of the H3 as it has a bit more life in it then the H3 neo.

It is just the mechanical method of shearing scissors use to cut. It will always deform and pull apart what it is cutting leading to micro damage on anything that is elastic. Some rubbers are just going to be more sensitive to this and show the damage more. I think for anyone new glueing...

The ones I have been putting on for other people all have a bit of a curve out of the packet but always different amount of curve. I think factory "tunning" is fairly common across a lot of the European made rubbers these days with the heavier ball etc.

Good result on the FH side, feel is key to improvement. It is difficult when you can't get access to a coach. For your backhand, maybe ask someone to feed light backspin balls to you then heavy backspin to see if there is a difference with your push. Would be interesting to see if you struggle...

I can get this very same problem and fall into the trap of not playing my game....You could try the Glazyer 09C? It is the same topsheet as the D09C (unforgiving if you become passive) but with a friendlier sponge hardness. Otherwise have a session with a coach to fix your problem as it is...

Do you find the factory boosting on the G1 can vary alot? I have noticed out of the pack some are rather flat when others are very curved and generally noticed red seem more curved.

It is interesting to see all these players get setups like the 09C because they tested it with a good player hitting the ball hard at them...then wonder why it is not as good when they play lower level matches.....

I am not sure if it is mental or not with different glues but I would assume you are more likely to notice any difference in the first few session. I use DHS No15, each layers has to be thin IMO. I put 3ml down per layer to maintain consistency across my glueing.

Potentially, your control issues might be more about confidence in playing your shots? Maybe keep the Fastarc G-1 if you like it, but with a thinner sponge.
