In total these stuff were $90. I'm all set for another year of rubbers. More blades to come, though.
  2. Fancy blades are just not worth it

Yeah, this is why all my blades are 92g+. My So-ten set up is rather heavy, but thanks to its balance, it doesn't feel really bad during training and matches.
  3. Fancy blades are just not worth it

I have a Nittaku So-Ten and love it way much more than any Sanwei blade I own (75 inner, 75 inner PBO, and the new Vita ALC). The craftsmanship of Nittaku is second to none, and the So-Ten is just too beautiful to play for me, lol. That alone justifies the price difference for me. Playing-wise...
  4. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

D09C by a large margin for me. Best BH rubber ever.
  5. What is the difference of DHS Hurricane 8 VS Hurricane 8-80 rubber.

I'm trying H8-80 38deg on my BH. I boosted mine with 2 layers of Haifu black oil. So far it's slower than D09C with low effort shots, but if I can get a full swing then the top end speed is the same if not faster than D09C. I don't need to modify my strokes at all. Not a bad alternative for D09C...
  6. Dignics 09c is amazing

To show how well loved my old sheet of D09C is, here is a picture I just took. After a layer of Haifu Black Oil, it's even faster and spinnier than the new unboosted sheet.
  7. Dignics 09c is amazing

May be you shouldn't clean it using the BTY cleaner. I clean mine using purified water and/or sweat only and the tackiness is still strong despite being like 200+ hours of play. I do have a spare bat with a 1 hour or so D09C on it, and can't feel any difference in tackiness. The topsheet of the...

I slap them on to my 75 inner, haven't got a chance to test the set up but pray for my elbow guys, lol
  9. Post your latest EJ purchase

Got them from an unpassable deal: a sheet of H8-80 38 deg. and a sheet of H3 Prov. BS 41 deg. for a total of $42. Boosting now
  10. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

From this video, the Jupiter 8 looks non-tacky. Loosing my interest, lol
  11. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

Has anyone tried the Jupiter 8 tour? Ttnpp has some instock for $28 and I'm curious about how it play. The sponge seems like Japanese/ESN stuff.
  12. boosting Big Dipper2 and Bloom speed

Let the rubbers flattern before gluing is like going in the opposite direction of boosting. Usually I glue my boosted rubbers after around 8 hours of last oil application, when they're still heavily domed, just like in this video
  13. Dignics 09c vs DHS Hurricane 3 Blue versions

D09C is still tacky for me after around 180 hours, but I need to boost it to maintain the performance (speed & spin).
  14. boosting Big Dipper2 and Bloom speed

Don't over booost the rubbers. Sometimes the booster oil leaks back from the sponge and ruins the glue layers, rendering the bat unplayable. Don't ask me how I know it, lol.
  15. booster only for china rubbers?

I boost every single sheet of my T05 and D09C once their initial performances drop. Great way to save money on rubbers and I get to enjoy the good ol' sounds of speed glue era, lol
  16. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

I might get one to try if I can find a good deal. Currently I 'm using the H52.5 on the FH side of my spare bat and not so impressed by it. I got the H52.5 for way cheaper than the MSRP, and for me the H52.5 is not even better than, say, the boosted Big Dippper.
  17. New Xiom Jekyll and Hyde Rubbers

Some stores are selling it already actually https://ttnpp.com/store/xiom/1479-xiom-jekyll-hyde-c-55-6.html
  18. Dignics 05 vs. 09c question.

D09C is the best BH rubber for me, I said it before and won't hesitate to say it again. Getting used to tacky rubbers on BH side takes a bit of time, but since you used H3 before, it won't be a big problem. You'll most likely love the D09C :D
  19. Post your latest EJ purchase

Got some FH rubbers shipped from Japan. Tried the J&H H52.5 today on the Nittaku So-ten and wasn't really impressed. Probably because I am too accustomed to H3. In general, it does feel nice, spinny and speedy, but not as spinny as H3, and I just wasn't be able to get the top speed out of it...
  20. what is speed and booster glue?

Basically you use speed-glues the same way as water-based ones. They have temporary effect on boosting your rubbers, but the boosting effect wears out really fast, so back then the pros used to glue their rubbers on right before each matches, usually with multiple layers. They're banned due to...
