  1. Review Yinhe Moon 12 Blue

My experience with Moon 12 (medium) was also a disappointment. Maybe it was the rubbers I compared it to, but it felt like several leagues below the competitors (Hammond Z2, Omega 5 tour, and H3N Nat Bs 40) during a 3-4 hour session. I think the rubber is made solely for the backhand, because it...
  2. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

For me, the regular Z2 is a spin/speed monster that even surpassed MX-P and T05 and was only behind H3 or hard European hybrids. It's also surprisingly grippy and not reactive to the incoming spin. It's a hard tensor (52 ESN), so the main downsides are: lower trajectory, price, and the fact that...
  3. What's your favorite tacky sheet?

    H3N 38 Pro OS H3N 39 Nat BS Jupiter 3 Asia 38 Big Dipper 38
  4. H3 42 degree blue

I switched to 45-48 (ESN) rubbers after 4.5 years of playing Jupiter/Hurricane and the results went up dramatically. In fact, Dignics (05 and 09c) are too hard for me as well. That's probably why I feel going for harder rubbers doesn't always benefit non-professionals.
  5. H3 42 degree blue

Sadly, I can't commit to trips thanks to having a newborn :( Speaking of hardness, I still vividly remember the moment I tried a boosted H41 on my clubmate's W968. Although I enjoyed the sensation of sending rockets with a satisfying clicky sound, my body was asking for a rest after 1.5 sets...
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Wow, unless you play an enormous-sized blade, the LAC consistency isn't high. For me, LAC was hands down the lightest sticky chinese rubber, weighing around 45-46 on a European-sized blade. This reminded me of Yinhe whose Jupiter 2 could weigh from 43 to 53 in the same hardness :D
  7. H3 42 degree blue

Goodness gracious, people are discussing the 42 and 43 H3... You guys must be full-time professionals to utilize that power. I mean, H3 isn't known for its stellar blocks, and you gotta work for every shot with full force and be the aggressor. I moved from H3N 39 Nat BS to H3N 38 Prov OS...
  8. Build your perfect WTT player

Dima is below Aruna in the ranking (lol). Should I cite his wins over top opponents? :) I appreciate your dedication to defending Aruna tho, commendable.
  9. Build your perfect WTT player

Nobody is taking away his wins against players from the Top 20. But there is another list, his exits from the end of 2023, most of them at round 1: Kao, El-Belaili, Matsushima, O. Ionescu, Freitas, Matsushima, Uda, E. Ionescu, Walther, Huang. These are all great players, but they are all way...
  10. Build your perfect WTT player

Aruna sometimes wins against opponents from top20, but such wins are rare--it's still almost always losses. With all the respect to Aruna, but his ranking is heavily inflated by being one of two Africa's top players (like you can't take seriously WTT ranking of Australian players, for example)...
  11. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

At least when using Falco Tempo Long (2 layers please), the booster adds a lot of spin to J3. And it will make execution of shots much easier, helping beat the guy who "plays basic drives". For me, J3 without a booster is a semi-dead mediocre rubber but with decent spin and short game. With a...
  12. Help with hurricane 3

Falco Tempo Long is the absolute champ for me. Adds very little speed but makes rubbers softer and adds tons of spin by easing the spin-creation process. It also lasts about 2-3 months and the smaller effect lingers further. Kailin is also excellent, as it adds tons of speed and spin. The only...
  13. Build your perfect WTT player

I wouldn't pick Aruna simply because his forehand power doesn't convert into results. In recent years, he mastered the skill of exiting tournaments in the 1st round.
  14. Build your perfect WTT player

Forehand: Ma Long Backhand: FZD Serves: WCQ Mentality: FZD Feeling: Timo/Niwa/Walther Personality: Heming Hu (trollface :D) Power: Dima Celebration: Harimoto
  15. Questions for Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Lee Sang Su

For Dima: 1) why does he swap his grip between forehand and backhand so much? 2) how much does he benefit from exhaling on shots? (it's uncommon having the "moaning" in TT, more of a big tennis thing). 3) does he miss Donic Baracuda? :) Personally, I don't play that rubber seriously but it...
  16. Is the hurricane 3 neo still worth it after tack reduction?

Did it accidentally touch your groin or this new racket is turning you on? :D
  17. Is the hurricane 3 neo still worth it after tack reduction?

For the love of God, please no ;D These are some of the worst rubbers I have ever tried (H8 37 is a strong contender in being utter garbage as well).
  18. Chinese Rubbers.vs Tensor Rubbers

Ironically, many of the "tensor" rubbers have bad durability, so you will need to "revive" them after a while ;D So the booster must stay your friend occasionally :) And yes, it would be much better to make a transition from H3 to the softer grippy tensors (like Baracuda and Fastarc) instead of...
  19. Post your latest EJ purchase

I love my MX-P on backhand but passive things like blocks and pushes are sometimes challenging. Decided to try something more tame.
  20. Is the hurricane 3 neo still worth it after tack reduction?

    1) Blue and orange are vastly different. Blue sponge is faster, harder and has lower/longer trajectory. Orange is slower, softer and has higher/shorter arc. Orange is better for pure spin (and it's easy to get), has no flat hitting or block. Blue is more about combination of speed and spin (spin...
