  1. What is the most important area to jump from 1900 to 2100?

In another thread he said it because he was using Moon 12 Blue :)
  2. Rasanter R45 or G-1, more controllable?

Sure, it all depends on style. Personally, I just spin from both wings and attack anything, even uncomfortable balls (lack of sheer power is my bane, gotta admit). So of course I only care for control during attacking to maintain spinny attacks, and this is where R45 (like many other R variants)...
  3. What's the difference between Butterfly and European rubbers?

Durability is the main reason, imo. For example, I don't see how products from Tibhar and Andro are worse than the Butterfly's counterparts. But for me it's obvious that BTY products last longer, some even last way longer.
  4. Rasanter R45 or G-1, more controllable?

For me, the strength of R45's spin generation dictates its major flaw--the rubber is too "alive" for good control. It's not necessarily the catapult, I would say it's mostly due to the elastic/dynamic combination of sponge and topsheet. Meanwhile, G1 is a kind of non-reactive rubber that...
  5. Rasanter R45 or G-1, more controllable?

G1 for sure is more controllable. Imo, R45 excels in two areas: 1) Incredible spin (especially for such a soft rubber) that is easy to generate. 2) Aggressive blocking that puts the attacker in precarious positions. In everything else, G1 is better.
  6. Something a bit quicker than Fastarc G1?

At some point, I stopped measuring which rubber is "spinnier", as this parameter depends so heavily on the technique of each individual player. For example, I can't produce solid spin via T05, H3 BS, Big Dipper, and D09 although many people rightfully view them as some of the spinniest rubbers...
  7. Rasanter R45?

R45 is an excellent rubber, the one I would call a "blocking machine". It is spinny and the durability is decent, the only downside is that finishing points is a bit harder than with R47/R48.
  8. Something a bit quicker than Fastarc G1?

T05. Given you are used to a high arc that G1 produces, T05 is an absolute champ. If you prefer a lower arc, then Omega Pro, Hammond Z2 (SV) are better. For the medium arc, Rasanter R47 and R48 are my favorites.
  9. New Andro NUZN 48 and 45

I think there's a ton of people who are used to playing 47-48 rubbers and who feel distinct difference between the 47-48 golden standard and anything outside of this range. *probably myself included :)
  10. New Andro NUZN 48 and 45

Same here. My C45 was excellent out of the box but in about a month the semi-tack was gone and the grip decreased dramatically. The R series doesn't rely on the semi-tack hence it lasts longer, so I rather use it. The V series is even more durable, but I wish it had more arc/spin. Haven't tried...
  11. Upgrading from tensor to hybrid rubber

It's not guaranteed that moving from tensors to hybrids will improve your game. For me, it was the opposite--moving away from hybrids to tensors was a major game improvement, and it's very personal across different players. Maybe try faster/harder tensors instead?
  12. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I think you overpraised it a little bit in numerous topics :) In my opinion, it's a good, versatile rubber, but it has its downsides.
  13. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

Wrong. Tibhar says it is 48 deg, and most of the reviewers point out it feels like 1-3 degrees softer than 48, to which I agree. I personally play 47 deg tensors on both sides (although with a pronounced trampoline effect), so I don't feel like softer rubbers restrict me by any means. My point...
  14. More arc / tensor

Imo, Tenergy 05 is the benchmark for arc. Plus all of the good defenders I know use Tenergy 05 with a great success.
  15. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

It's fantastic that the rubber suits your playstyle this well. But regardless of your preferences, the softer hybrid just can't produce a ball that is venomous enough--much like with G09C, it rather capitalizes on good placement and stability of continuous attacks. There is no such thing as a...
  16. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I think his opinion is due to the softness of MK--it's 48 on paper but feels even softer, and it lacks "the bullet shot", I dunno how to describe it. For me, MK is a great rubber with excellent control and spin, but you need to invest a lot of power to perform deadly shots, while K3 is much more...
  17. H3 style rubber for bh

Dunno how many layers of booster H8 needs, but even after 4-5 layers it felt like an extremely slow and tame rubber.
  18. Short review of Glayzer 09c

It's hard to judge the "no tack" argument from people coming from vanilla H3--they have different standards in their "H3 sandbox" :) Some think that if a ball lifts 10cm and falls (doesn't hold), then there is no tack. When effectively, the tack is present. So doesn't your G09C even lift a ball...
  19. Short review of Glayzer 09c

Personally, I consider "holding a ball for 9 seconds" a downside, so I would be happy :) And yes, it is called a hybrid for a reason--it is a middle ground between a chinese sticky rubber and tensor. Furthermore, European/Japanese hybrids never held the ball for too long. I would say G09C has an...
