  1. Do Stiga make something extremely similar to Butterfly Innerforce ALC

Aura is quite much faster than an innerforce alc. I think the closest thing is the Carbonado 45 or 90. Those are outerforce but the outer layer is limba and carbon layer not so thick so speed-wise they are quite comparable.
  2. Blade advice with short pips BH

But look at what the OP is using now. Persson Powerplay will be super stable compared to an Appelgren allplay. I think it is probably a good natural progression for a relative beginner.
  3. Lim Jonghoon Signature Blade

This is probably connected to some targeted marketing initiative trying to increase market share in South Korea. He is currently the one with the best results in big tournaments if we include mixed doubles results and rankings.
  4. Lim Jonghoon Signature Blade

I also prefer these, a bit more, conservative designs of the blade handles
  5. Lim Jonghoon Signature Blade

Timo Boll Spirit and Viscaria married and had a baby! ;)
  6. SpinSight users post your experience and reviews

Yeah, I agree spin is the most interesting metric it captures, but it also captures speed and you asked how Lazer could test it without the spotted balls.
  7. SpinSight users post your experience and reviews

The balls are only needed to track spin
  8. SpinSight users post your experience and reviews

I have just tried it one short session. FH loop vs "no spin" long serve: Harimoto ALC +. Dignics09C. - avg 130 RPS Clipper + Stiga Helix Platinum M. - avg 120+RPS
  9. I Challenged Strawberry Master Romain Ruiz!

@Dan, you should use Spinsight when you review the rubbers. Report the average spin and speed metrics, then it becomes a bit less of subjective scoring we have had in the past. And by the way, Merry Christmas! 🤶
  10. Changing my forehand rubber

If you have a problem generating speed with a really stiff blade with a really hard rubber then maybe you should either get a more flexible blade or get softer rubbers. I.e. try Helix Platinum Medium on the Cybershape Carbon or try the Dignics 09C on a Cybershape Wood.
  11. Butterfly Zyre 03

Yeah, you are right, I mean RPS :ROFLMAO:
  12. Butterfly Zyre 03

I had my first try with Spinsight yesterday. Only a quick test, and I only meassured spin on FH loops. Unfortunately I could not try the Zyre rubber, but only Stiga Helix Plat M and Dignics09C. Really curious to see the results with Zyre as well. A bit off topic since this is a Zyre thread, but...
  13. Butterfly Zyre 03

So what is the current verdict on 2.5 vs 2.7 sponge thickness for non-pro players? 2.7 best for FH and 2.5 better for BH or 2.5 better for both BH/FH? I have only tried Zyre 2.5 on FH(on a Visc SALC) for a couple of minutes and it definitely felt quite different to any other butterfly rubber I...
  14. WTT Finals Hong Kong 2025, 12/10-14

I never really liked Stiga rubbers before, but now with Helix I am really satisfied. Lots of spin.
  15. Help with technique and match analysis

You are doing great for 2,5 years! A few pointers from me, maybe already covered by others: You are very fast. Take more advantage of that to get into position to hit your stronger shots. Your forehand is much stronger than your backhand so you should set it up more often. You have a tendency...
  16. Zyre 03 (2.7mm) vs Dignics 09c - Speed & Spin Test (Data Analysis) - Part 1

Nice test! Although it a bit limited to only showing how the rubbers behave for passive blocking and maybe serve return. But it is clear that 09c is way less spin sensitive and absorbs opponents speed better making it more controlled. Makes sense since it is semi-tacky I assume. I agree with...
  17. Stiga Helix Platinum ( Any review )

I do not know. But since Truls plays with Helix and Cybershape Carbon combo, I guess it must work well.
  18. Stiga Helix Platinum ( Any review )

I play Helix Platinum M on a clipper. I have tested H as well. I like it a lot. More dwell and more spin than DNA Platinum M. Quite similar to Tenergy 19.
  19. Butterfly Zyre 03

Yes, that is my point. You stated in previous post that, I quote: "I feel the same stifness using Infinity VPS like using ALC or similars, the difference is Infinity is way less hard so a lot of more flex than ALC or similars.". So I am wondering how you can say that you feel the same...
  20. Returning player (AR+/OFF–) looking for versatile rubbers for Xiom Hugo HAL [no longer: Cybershape Wood]

If you live in the Stockholm area I would recommend you to go to the Stiga showroom. There you can test all possible(almost all possible) combos of their blades and rubbers. They have three tables setup and usually there is an ex pro-league player there who you can play against who will...
