  1. Post your latest EJ purchase

I would say regular hands. LG handle is definitely better for BH. FH I feel that sometimes with bigger handles I need to consciously relax the wrist more, since smaller handles kind of make my wrist loose automatically on the FH side(HL5 is another blade with rather thin handle - same...
  2. Post your latest EJ purchase

OK tried C-1 and it's much better than G-1 for BH. The sponge is softer, while topsheet remains very grippy, so I can execute the same BH flicks. Blocks and counter topspins are easier to execute. So far happy with this rubber on the BH, waiting when EJ virus strikes again. Also gonna return...
  3. Acoustic 82g vs 90g?

I had 3 acoustics and 2 of them was 85g, the latest with large handle I have is 88g, which is perfect for me.
  4. How low/wide should the stance be?

I think there should be some science behind 'being comfortable'. I (rarely) experience this feeling when I make one shot and then another and then another and the stance just feels right and comforable to do however many top spins I need to win the point. However, it's not always the case and...
  5. Post your latest EJ purchase

I've received Nittaku Acoustic just recently (again...), but this time with large handle and this was the best purchase in my life. Feels MUCH better than regular handle. Nittaku FastArc G-1 on FH somehow fits Acoustic just right. It feels right. It does just everything how I expect it to do...

    spin it

    spin it
  7. Post your latest EJ purchase

Yinhe Big Dipper 39 degrees. I though that it might replace H3. Nope, not at all. Much less spin, unfortunately. H3 forever it seems.
  8. Booster in winter.

I've ordered it once in winter and it came in a very "interesting" state. It was consisting of two substances: very fluid part and denser part. After mixing these two with the brush that it comes with, it became like water in terms of density. Overall, I think it lost some of it's properties...
  9. Alternative to Hurricane 3 Neo

So here's a little quote from Table Tennis Gan from YouTube under his video about boosting. Enough of a proof for me that 1-2 layers are sufficient to play well (and he plays really well) Better have more training sessions, than overboost the rubber.
  10. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

@Dan thans for the awesome opportunity to share knowledge and chat with people around the world about table tennis. Great redesign! Now back to discussing hurricane 3 and boosting...
  11. Advice to prevent ESN rubber shrinkage?

Nittaku FastArc G-1 doesn't shrink if you glue it without any stretching in the first place (don't push hard when putting rubber to the surface of the blade and rolling it with roller). Not sure about other ESN rubbers.
  12. Joola Zhou Qihao Super AL-c 90 review

Yup, but nevertheless he still chooses Hurricane 3 on both sides. I thought you said 'better' as in 'ESN is definitely better' than H3 neo BS boosted. May be it's language barrier, I don't know.
  13. Joola Zhou Qihao Super AL-c 90 review

Brother Gan would not agree with you :) look at what he does with H3 on this blade!
  14. Chinese Team - Bat pictures!

Old but gold. I've never seen this thread and it's very interesting to me to explore what CNT was using during 2011-2012 era.
  15. DHS Hurricane 3-50 vs 8-80

I think I just replied to your comment asking the same thing on my youtube channel :D 8-80 is rather slow. Rakza 7 is around the same speed as FastArc G-1 and 8-80 is around 1.35 times slower according to my subjective calculations. Overall, 8-80 is not an amazing rubber, even if you hit good...
  16. Ma Long vs Maharu Yoshimura - WTTC 2023 Asian Qualifiers

Why is this not on the official WTT YouTube channel I wonder 🤔
  17. Starting my Round Robin journey to improve my rating

If the ball touches your PADDLE hand and otherwise results in a legal hit, there is no rule violation and play shall continue as normal. Your paddle hand includes all fingers and hand area below the wrist. If the ball touches your hand and THEN paddle, or the other way around, this is...
  18. Outer ALC users, why do you like your blade?

Also, kids don't really care what to play with. There's no analysis, so they just train and improve with whatever blade coach advises. I personally don't like outer ALC blades, because there's little flex and feeling is really dull and boring. I also, probably, will perform better with such...
  19. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Every player is so unique in style and (most importantly) strategic thinking...I think one cannot compare two players without seeing them actually play against each other.
  20. DHS fans unite!

Played today with HL2 old version FH h3 blue sponge national 40 degrees with 2 layers of seamoon BH Nittaku FastArc G-1 2.0 Much better feeling than newer HL3, unfortunately...a little flexier and for sure more powerful. May that's the difference between HL2 and HL3 though. I prefer to think...
