  1. New Haifu Seamoon 2022 booster looks different?

I think this is just inconsistency of the rubbers. I had very predictable results with boosting Provincial DHS rubbers in terms of both doming/undoming and the boosting effect itself. With commercial rubbers it's just different. Sometimes it curles up like crazy, sometimes nothing happens 🤷*♂️...
  2. DHS fans unite!

Yes, it is. Tried Hurricane 3 Commercial/Provincial OS and National BS. Agree with MK73 on the fact that OS Provincial version gives best feedback, especially on flexy blades like HL2/3. It's fantastic rubber and not slow by any means :) With this rubber, the more you give the more you...
  3. What is the best alternative for Tenergy 05?

All serious TT players eventually will be stuck with Hurricane 3. We are all doomed! There is no escape from DHS. Resistance is futile. Just kidding.

AliExpress. Reputable sellers sell legit Hurricane rubbers. This one plays wonderful with clicky sound, as it should. Sometimes 40 degrees commercial H3s are completely dead, so I think I will either buy 40 degrees prov or national and BH would be 38 degrees commercial. It can play wonders when...

Currently playing with Hurricane Long 3. Great blade :) H3 National 40 deg. FH H3 Commercial 39 deg. BH.
  6. Glue for boosted rubbers

hmm Butterfly Free Chack Pro II is available where I am, but it seems that there are 2 opinions which are completely opposite :) thanks for the awesome input, everyone
  7. Glue for boosted rubbers

Sellers from AliExpress are usually selling glue (not rubbers and blades) via Cainiao Standard For Special Goods, which takes 2-3 months in my experience...and water based glue doesn't like winter time. And it's soon to be winter time, that's the real reason I guess :( Also, I need it now, not...
  8. Glue for boosted rubbers

Heya everyone. I've been using DHS #15 and Revolution #3 for boosted rubbers. Revolution requires many layers for proper hold of the rubber (it also smells bad :)) I personally think DHS #15 suits it very, very well and is easy to remove. Unfortunately, DHS and Revolution glues are not easily...
  9. Does using speed glue permanently alter a rubber's characteristic?

I actually have national version (white package) H3. Without booster it's pretty hard to do killer top spin, because the sponge just doesn't hold the ball. With orange it's slower, but I can feel that it sinks in the rubber and can produce loopkills. Spin with booster is around the same, may be...
  10. Does using speed glue permanently alter a rubber's characteristic?

what about provincial versions of the H3? The one that we can order from AliExpress (legit ones), do they also have this kind of diversity in terms of hardness ?
  11. FZD ALC review

Thanks for posting this. I usually watch Table Tennis Gan on youtube, he looks like a semi-pro (or retired professional player) too. Enjoy watching players with proper technique doing the equipment reviews. But really if Viscaria "0.5-1" points "worse" in some categories, I think it won't...
  12. Joola Zhou Qihao Super AL-c 90 review

I've tried FastArc G-1 on stiffer blades and didn't like it as well. It suits flexible ones with more dwell time IMO
  13. Nittaku Acoustic with Hurricane 3

I can do both boosted and unboosted, but H3 was made to be used with speed glue. Or these days - boosted.
  14. Nittaku Acoustic with Hurricane 3

Actually, I did. I've glued Dignics 05 on the backhand side and now it's just outstanding, I can even counter loop with this setup on the BH, which I never excel at...Just flick the wrist and boom! It's very sensitive to the incoming spinny balls, the wrist has to be very relaxed and precise to...
  15. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Anybody knows what Zhu Yi currently uses? I got addicted to watching Chinese table tennis and Zhu Yi amazes me with his technique. I wonder what equipment does he use? It's definitely H3 blue sponge FH, but BH is questionable... The blade is likely Viscaria clone from Yinhe or Viscaria itself...
  16. What should i do ?

If you go with commercial better use some booster, otherwise you'll likely be disappointed
  17. What should i do ?

I wouldn't agree that DHS bo2 has a lot of dwell and flex...it's rather stiff. Long 5 is very flexy though, but less controllable. Haven't played with Donic Waldner Senso Carbon but according from the reviews online (which actually say little about the blade, since it's all people's opinions)...
  18. Dhs h8-80

I wonder if there's a national version of H8-80. Watching a couple of games by Cho Seungmin now, he's a beast with his backhand. And there was a topic somewhere here on the forum that he plays with H8-80 on the BH and is sponsored by DHS. I also wonder where can I get legit w968 with which he...
  19. Best footwear for a beginner.

This is well put. Better save up for decent shoes and use for several years. No kidding, I ordered Mizuno Wave Drive from tabletennis11 and been using them for 2 years now. Playing A LOT of table tennis, in leagues, trainings 3-4 times a week, etc. There's almost nothing remaining of the insole...
  20. LF DHS Long III (3) or 506

I have old Long 2 (with bigger head size and printing). It's the most flexible blade I've ever played, I can even feel that when blocking...the ball rebounds faster on faster top spins. But I think it's different than Long 3, the outer layer is smoked limba, not regular one. Probably other...
