  1. Top Contributors for this month on TTD - award goes to?

ROFL My thoughts exactly! I've clicked on it so many times accidentally! :ROFLMAO:
  2. Felix in Taiwan

I can't see the video..."Video unavailable This video has been removed by the uploader"
  3. World's Fastest Table Tennis Serve - Asuka Sakai Still Got the Moves!

Amazing, thanks for posting Matt! Wow, 1/30? You'd think he could slow it down just slightly, to vastly improve the margin of error.
  4. Blade’s weight depending on humidity? How much?

I'd like to get me some of your magic lacquer that adds negative weight!
  5. Butterfly Zyre 03

That's the kind of review I really like! He points out the pros and cons of the rubber, how it compares to other rubbers, and how it's more suitable for some players, but definitely not all. Although I've only had a short hit with the rubber, my findings were very similar...perhaps that part of...
  6. Blade’s weight depending on humidity? How much?

The irony is of course that the lacquer has added weight, and this weight may be as much as the increase in weight from moisture. :ROFLMAO: Still worth it though I agree.
  7. New sticky andro rubber Plasma 500S

I suspect it's the same technology as the new Donic Bluegrip J-series, which also claims a slightly tacky topsheet (the promotional picture show the ball sticking to the rubber), but these are also virtually non-tacky although extremely grippy.
  8. Removing glue residue from topsheet

If you still have the cut-off of the rubber you glued on, try and test glue removal on that piece to find out what works, before you try it on you bat.
  9. Lack of spin and consistency, Hurricane III or just me?

It could well be the rubber, but it can be technique as well. I assume you're looping a topspin? If so, if your stroke is not fast enough (which can happen if you don't get to it quick enough) the trajectory will be much lower and the ball less spinny. This does not happen so much with...
  10. TTDaily: Does the forum need Moderators who are Active on the Forum

I think you would make an excellent moderator Tony. I agree though, you'd have to be much more careful what you post, some people will treat you differently, and you'll probably lose some friends as well. It's both an honour and a burden. :)
  11. China Training Vlogs

Very nice!!! Hope the temperature/humidity is bearable
  12. Butterfly Zyre 03

    I agree, absolutely!
  13. Butterfly Zyre 03

I think that is a typo... those Tackifire numbers were on a different scale, and scales changed a few few times as new rubbers were released.
  14. Butterfly Zyre 03

I agree completely, although strictly speaking, it's an ESN innovation not Andro, and other brands (e.g. Donic) had similar rubbers like this too.
  15. What is most bouncy Chinese rubber in your experience.

The 'snipe' version I tried had a soft and bouncy sponge. The sheet I tried was fast and very bouncy. Perhaps I got the fastest of the batch, and you got the slowest. :ROFLMAO:
  16. What is most bouncy Chinese rubber in your experience.

729 Focus III Snipe is very bouncy.
  17. What're the best site for collaboration pls link me all the sites you know

Ahh yes. 'Sponsorship' is the word you're looking for. As others have said already, you really need to think about what you can offer to these companies, so that they can see the benefit of sponsoring you. Sponsorship from retailers is becoming much rarer these days, because retailers know that...
  18. What're the best site for collaboration pls link me all the sites you know

Collaborate on what? Playing, coaching, buying equipment, selling equipment?
  19. ITTF and FIT joined forces to ensure fair play.

Fake sponges or players changing sponges are extremely rare at international level. It's rare at any level actually and only done by an extremely small minority. These 'solutions' will add a cost to every rubber made, and guess who pays for this?
  20. Warranty on Table Tennis Blades

Unfortunately this happens with a lot of new blades from various brand, which is why people seal their blades before gluing on the rubber the first time, to avoid exactly this. I do feel that if manufacturers use these thin or fragile outer plies, they should seal it in the factory. The cynic in...
