My last visit to the Alameda TT Gym I played vs that LH guy with old rubbers... he looks to attack anything when it suits him with either rubber. I went down 0-2 with tight sets and all kind of bad breaks going against me. In game three, he got SIX !!! nets/edges to go up 6 points with me...

Hard to see in that gym... some lights are flickering... they open doors and you have glare... the skylight is glare during daytime... ... the tables are friction like sandpaper... so when people give light underspin slow ball, it stops instead of continuing forward... makes your natural timing...

A TT friend here in Boston took me to a Chinese community center... that place had over a dozen table ! I met their coach and exchanged some words and conversation, played vs him in a match and he had his players coming to me one by one for how to BH hit or loop, finally got a doubles match...

I sourced out all the China HK vendors out of all their stock of K1 rubber a couple years ago,,, the TSOS unit has a 10 yrs supply if he replaces the rubbers after 1 year... nah... he has a 20 yr supply.

The father of Korean pro Jeong Young Sik (Jung Hae Chul) uses LP on the BH side of his J-Pen bat (and he played 2100 USATT level with that setup) and he is quite handy... Of course the world's best footwork and BH slippery pips can be deadly...

Next time U se the TSOS unit in the hall, you tell him why he want to keep using that sandpaper useless short life rubber called K1... Anyone not knowing he will spin you off the table using that stuff.

The OP needs to ask a leading national expert, like Sergey TSOS about how to treat and use H3.

R53 is a totally different animal compared to 47 of same/similar. Sponge hardness matters. For a number of years, including where I nearly cracked past 2100 USATT... SOFT modern dynamic rubbers were what suited my kind of impact and looping on FH... I could also use about anything on BH, but...

@TensorBackhand , It is your personal IMPACT. Simply, you have trained your impact to make use of sticky rubber with medium firmness. It requires a totally different kind of ball strike to use a Euro/Japanese rubber and of course that is over generalized... but those rubbers are way different...

You might have seen this young Korean lady TTer in some vids before - Jeong Da-Yeon... Here she gets 7 handicap points vs long retired KJH. Da-Yeon can really pound the ball on Fh (if she ever gets a chance to do it).

It COULD go as Tiny suggested for the order and exactly who shall serve, but is does not necessarily be mandatory that it goes that way, the rules provide for the serving team to choose before each game which player of the serving team shall serve.

Yup. Korrekt. The player who served first in game 1 does NOT HAVE to serve first in game 3... it is the choice of the serving team to decide which player shall serve first at the beginning of that game. Receiving player should simply be the opposite of who received him (or her) in the prior...

So to make it simple.. if lodro served to player 1 in game one, he will be serving to player 2 in game two... and serve to player 1 in game three and so on. It is just that the serving team may choose which player of the team serves first at the beginning of the game (the first serve).

You alternate who receives opposing team's player 1 or 2's serves each game... it is only a matter if player 1 or player 2 of a doubles team chooses to serve first on a particular game. if in game one Team A won the serve toss (or other side won and deferred) so that Team A serves first.... and...
