  1. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I had Sun on my FH a few years back, very good for flat hitting, possibly related to the super large pimples. Good grip for non tacky rubbers as well, I can serve fine with it. Slightly on the heavy side though.
  2. Stiga blades comparison.

Standardized testing of equipments is a good idea but: - it benefits player the most, but doing it properly and personally is very costly so zero, if not very few amateur player will have the resource to do it. Pro players get sponsored, if they are big enough they get customized rubbers and...

too bad one rubber must be black, would like to try this out on the BH.
  4. Dignics 09c vs Sanwei Target National new version vs Jupiter 3 Asia vs DHS 8-80 for FH on TB ALC blade

Neither the Target series nor the Jupiter 3 is high throw IMO. Certainly not as high as D09c. Glayzer 09c has high throw but is significantly slower.
  5. G-1

According to Nittaku, G1 has the highest arc within the series, despite having the hardest sponge. I think pimple structure and surface tackiness also play a role somewhere.
  6. G-1

Depending on where you are, G-1 is either quite affordable or overpriced with respect to other ESN rubbers.
  7. Xiom Vega series

durability issue in what sense? fragile topsheet, oxidize quickly, or the sponge dies quickly?
  8. Serving with BH rubber

I am not sure if I want to engage the sponge when I serve short. And i am too used to serve with tacky rubber on my FH.

Does that mean the Moon speed has a harder sponge?
  10. Nasty rubber setup, another great ERT video

Hurricane and Tenergies are different rubbers, which one do you ban? Even if you ban long pimples there would still be antispin rubbers. Or are you suggesting we should have a range of surface friction and rebound index of rubbers? What about blades and handles. 5 ply 7 ply ALC carbon ZLC 1...

By not using LP during warmup, that also means they aren't warm with their LP, so that's fair. Nobody said you have to show every tricks during warmup. Choppers often don't chop during warmup, is that unfair? Koki Niwa doesn't do chop blocks during warmup, is thay unfair? You can choose to...
  12. Nasty rubber setup, another great ERT video

You need to be more specific with how Idesawa is abusing her equipment but not LP choppers. From what I saw she's just flat hitting a lot, which is common with short pips players, e.g. Mima.
  13. Nasty rubber setup, another great ERT video

Pip players really can't win against you... If they can consistently challenge top players or become top players themselves, you'd say they have unfair advantage with using pips. If they only trouble top players once in a while, you'd say they are relying on pips to get random wins out of top...
  14. Xiom Vega Korea Review

That's a fragile topsheet if that happens without hitting the table at all. That said, you rarely use the edge of the rubber to hit the ball.

How do you precisely measure and compare skill about using inverted rubbers, short pimpled rubbers and long pimpled rubbers, to see if the point-winning probability is proportional to the "skill"? If I can serve super spinny with my tacky rubbers, is that an abusive technology? If I can loop a...
  17. Nasty rubber setup, another great ERT video

If the technology is so good, that it overshadows the player's skill and creates an uneven playing field, that would be modern inverted rubbers, not LP. Otherwise the World Champions and World No. 1s would mostly be LP players. Can you name the last World No. 1 that doesn't use double inverted...

ITTF also ban boosting. Boosting also creates an uneven playing field don't you think? So players with boosted rubbers only plays amongst themselves?
  19. Nasty rubber setup, another great ERT video

The solution to make it easier to practice/play against pip players is to have more pip players so they are no longer a minority :D
