  1. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

D09c is better for forehand because of the firmer topsheet. K3 is better on backhand because of it's softer topsheet. About the price, you're paying more than just for the rubber. You're paying for the feeling that you're gonna get the same thing everytime.
  2. Life expectancy of Tibhar K3?

For me, Hurricanes do last a long time. It's just that at the 1 month mark, they become too soft. It turns from a hard-linear rubber into a bouncy no grip rubber. I don't know how hard you guys train, but plenty of balls went through my side of the racket.
  3. Why are pro players only using DHS and no other Chinese style rubber?

But only H3 has the hardness levels of going up to 43 degrees.
  4. Any experiences about the Victas V 22 Double Extra?

That's the same way I felt with V>15, when slow it was solid, when fast it was incredible. But if you hit with medium power, it was unstable. The medium power is used during counters near the table. So the rubber to me was only good for winners.
  5. Why do only Chinese players use DHS rubbers?

That fact alone is tempting me to get hurricane 3 on my backhand as well. I've realised as I've gotten better that being able to topspin both sides doesn't matter if you can't even hit the ball. I get a lot of points from service and my forehand play. My backhand which is tenergy like in it's...
  6. Victas V>15 Extra blue and Victas V>22 Double Extra Blue problems?

This happened to me with my V>15 extra red. I like it's characteristics but the grip let me down. I liked it's low arc but the grip dying a little bit killed it.
  7. What’s NOT good with Rozena?

I've tried Glayzer and Dignics 05. Glayzer is very nice. It feels like a harder tenergy if it had less spin. Basically Dignics but without it's blazing potential. It feels like a 48-degree rubber.
  8. Butterfly Rozena and Glayzer durability

Just like with any spring sponge rubber. Their sponges will outlast their topsheet. Fortunately for Tenergy and Rozena, their concept of creating spin is consistent even if the topsheet is worn. Glayzer on the other hand, should durability-wise, last longer.
  9. Schlager video describing Glayzer, Glayzer 09C and Rozena

Yep my coach said that to me as well. You start off with hard rubbers then when you get better, you can use softer rubbers. All for the concept of you creating your own spin.
  10. H3 provincial blue or orange sponge?

I agree with this idea. I felt that the orange sponge was more lively or more supportive of a counter-based or quick game. While the blue sponge, had this greater dwell. Now this was when I asked my coaches to boost the rubber, I myself would have to find my way of boosting.
  11. Victas Triple Double Extra review

Used two layers: Glue Booster (6 hours) Booster (12-24 hrs) Glue Glue (should have put two glues at the start) It's a lot more dynamic now, it's very nice, with me just hitting it towards the wall. I'll see if it bubbles in the coming days.
  12. Victas Triple Double Extra review

I'll be using it on FH, it doesn't have enough dynamics/spin when you put 60% of your power. So I end up using 80% and miss more. I'll most likely return to my hurricane, I was using 40 degrees unboosted. I'll get 41 and boost. Edit: also I'm gonna put another layer, I put too little (no dome).
  13. Victas Triple Double Extra review

Imma pray, I'm only putting one layer.
  14. Victas Triple Double Extra review

That's not a good sign
  15. Victas Triple Double Extra review

What's your process for boosting TDE. I got two and I want to experiment with boosting it.
  16. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

it looks more like an aramid-carbon blade. I don't think they would play similarly.
  17. Xiom Zeta China and Xiom Omega VII Asia ( China Exclusive)

Omega asia 7 china exclusive is a 47.5 degree sponge.
  18. Using coach's 2nd Viscaria w/Dignics 09C!

Viscaria to me is ok. The handle is too big for my hands so I no longer use it. I find that I can't use any forehand rubber on it except h3. On my HL5 clone, I can use TDE and Tau 2 in addition. I prefer a better forehand.
  19. How much $ do you spend on coaching?

On a side note, the flicks are a symptom of my root problem. Service receive. In my effort to improve my backhand, I made less use of my forehand to speed up my learning. Instead of fh pivot loops, I opted to do backhand loops. I know I play best when I can just forehand any topspin ball. I...
