  1. Spinniest but fastest all-wood blade that you've tried.

Was that a line from the popular Tina Turner song from the 80's? What does the density of wood have to do with it? Have to do with it? What is the density of wood but a blade makers promotion?
  2. Sanwei Fextra and Dynamo Blades!

Yes I think so. It is a bit fast still, but touch and topspin are definitely getting better with it. And bh pips shots are very good with it. But like you say needed a while to adjust to it I think. It is such an excellent blade for short and medium pimples!!
  3. Sanwei Fextra and Dynamo Blades!

I have been trying, but since September I keep coming back to the Fextra. Been playing very well recently too! A great recommendation from you!! If you have solved my EJing you can truly be called The MASTER or The WISE ONE! ;)
  4. Sanwei Fextra and Dynamo Blades!

I have been playing with fextra as my main blade for a few more months now. I seem to be getting better at controlling it, it is wonderful with my spinlord keiler on bh. It definitely helps when I am the attacking player, and it also loops wonderfully on fh once you get the knack of it. So...
  5. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

Tenergy 05fx, but I have a sheet of 05 I could try. I think I should stick to Fextra TBH probably!! I think most blades have hollowed out handles TBH, it is just more noticeable on some blades!
  6. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

Is everyone still in love with the Falck W7? I am using the Fextra still, the Fextra is great and I am playing pretty well, but it is is so fast and on the edge of what I can control. The Joola Nature did not work out, IMO it lacks feeling and feedback, feels a little strange TBH. What puzzles...
  7. playing with short pips

I switched to Keiler SP/Mid pips on bh after experimenting with several short pips, out of boredom with same results against same people and because I return serve better with them. It also makes the game more interesting IMO as you get older, different challenges for opponent and myself. It...
  8. Joola Nature

So managed to have a sneaky knock at work with a colleague. Nature seems promising, think it is a tad slower and more controlled than Fextra. Very comfortable, can't wait for a proper practice hopefully next week if we come out of lockdown and into tier 1 in Herefordshire!!
  9. playing with short pips

Middle pimps are definitely more effective and weird balls if you are going to block a lot, and not attack full time. Spinlord Keiler are very easy to use. I would recommend getting 1.5mm for more nasty slow knuckle balls.
  10. playing with short pips

Force pro is definitely a better blade for pips. Long 5 is not a pips blade at all IMO!! Also read review on TT11 blog of Long 5, he is an experienced pip player.
  11. playing with short pips

Lula do you think if he likes blocking a lot and is less aggressive on smashes CLV might be better with Spinlord Keiler, a mid pimple that is better for blocking but still good on the occasional hit!
  12. Joola Nature

My guess is 6.3 or 6.4mm thick!!
  13. Joola Nature

Not had chance to try it yet?
  14. Joola Nature

What a beauty, shame I can't play for another 3 weeks at least!
  15. Joola Nature

You can have a hard yet flexy blade, as you can have a stiff yet soft blade! Very True nymose!!
  16. Joola Nature

There is a good chance I will stick with Fextra anyway, I do not like the new ABS balls and I still use Poly Joola Flash when possible. I need a faster blade for ABS Balls!
  17. Joola Nature

Fextra is only 6mm, but it is still pretty fast and pretty stiff. Ask Yogi, he had a lot of love for the fextra!!
  18. Joola Nature

I have four Sanwei Fextra's. Two are still in the sellophane.
  19. Joola Nature

Too fast for the Tenergy on fh, but not always too fast sometimes too bouncy, sometimes too much flex, sometimes too stiff for my to do spinny loops. I reckon I could use mid pips on a Primorac Carbon!!
  20. Joola Nature

SK7 was excellent looping blade for a 7 ply, trouble is I tried most of these blades with Spectol Red, not Spinlord Keiler. SK7 was actually a very nice blade TBH.
