there really is not IMO they are quite different rubbers
  2. 1.9 or max on forehand!!

I wish I had read these posts before I bought a sheet of max 05fx. I think last year I tried to emphasise looping more in my game. My strengths are close to table and hitting ball early. So back to 1.9 it is. I cant drive the ball as hard or as consistently with max 05fx even on fh. I feel...

  4. Table Tennis England Pride of Table Tennis Awards

Hi everyone, so when I am not being a massive EJ or making outrageous silly comments on TTD..... I am actually a qualified TT referee and umpire and TO, I am part of a team that organise a lot of table tennis tournaments in Hereford, England! I am very proud to have just won the Pride of...
  5. Short pimple rubbers

Jordan I play with short/mid pimples on bh Spinlord Keiler. Please listen to advice from Lula, he is an excellent pips player and gives very good advice. Since I have moved to a faster stiffer blade (sanwei fextra) my pip play has improved a lot. My fh needs work, but if you want short pips...

  8. Is there an alternative to Tenergy 05fx now?

Der Echte, thanks someone awesome posts here. Sometimes someone else just needs to remind you of these things! Your 3 posts should be automatically inserted every time someone posts about equipment!
  9. Is there an alternative to Tenergy 05fx now?

Der Echte, your post above is fantastic and very sensible. My footwork has gone backwards again during a period of 5 months of not playing. The blade I use Sanwei Fextra may indeed be a bit quick, it is a bit stiff for sure. It is excellent for my kieler mid pimple bh which really has...
  10. Is there an alternative to Tenergy 05fx now?

No offence was meant, I am just a bit cheeky at times. I was smiling all the time and joking Ahma!!
  11. Is there an alternative to Tenergy 05fx now?

Hi Carl, Hi Der It is true in my eyes 'Der' is a god on the forum, whose word it too be literally taken as gospel. FX-S was already a consideration for me, I have tried it before. It might actually be the case that I should not be looking for rubbers like 05fx and should be looking for rubbers...

  14. Is there an alternative to Tenergy 05fx now?

Hi, although I try other stuff generally I have used Tenergy 05fx now for about 7 or 8 years on my fh. I have tried 05 but find it a little unforgiving, I am not quite good enough for it. Now I love 05fx for this currently on A Sanwei Fextra 7 ply wood (which suits my pimple bh); Spin Speed...
  15. Blades with two sides?

I think the yinhe g1 might the one i was thinking of Lula
  16. Aurus prime vs EL-S

Tibhar Stratus Powerwood is an outstanding looping wooden blade, yet still stiff enough for driving. I suspect many many players in the world that use carbon blades would be considerably more consistent and spinnier with a Tibhar Stratus Powerwood
  17. Blades with two sides?

I have the same problem, koto blades seem better for SP on backhand, but I prefer Limba on fh for spin and control. There is a recent DHS blade which is alc koto and alc limba, but I cant remember what it is called, ill try and find out. Why Don't you get the blade maker on the forum to make...
  18. Yasaka Sweden Extra flaired handle

yes give or take, very similar maybe a tad bigger. I would say if you like Stiga flair you will like Yasaka flair And as an EJ I have tried many blades from both YSE is a very very good blade especially considering price
