  1. Does humidity have more negative effect on softer rubbers?

Harder rubbers are worse than softer rubbers in humid conditions. The reason is the lack of deformation on slower shots.
  2. I'm curious if this setup is worth the cost

Why not yinhe Mercury 2?? Cheap as it gets but very controllable and spinny, can even be played until 2000 rating easily. just make sure you get the soft version, it's the easiest to play. Still my favorite BH rubber after many years.
  3. Xiom Omega 7 China Guang and Ying

Thanks, sounds good to me. I might buy a sheet soon.
  4. Xiom Omega 7 China Guang and Ying

So how high is the throw angle of O7C guang exactly?
  5. Finding a more solid version of Fastarc G1

-victas 402 Double extra, -mx-p 50, -stiga mantra H. These are similar in characteristic to g-1 but a bit harder.
  6. P Ball killed the PH star

You are at least five years late. the first CA plastic ball was still spinny by itself, then the Abs Ball killed the slow spinny game in 2016. Players were however still struggling with control, so loopers had more consistency back then. Now everyone has adapted and the game has become a speed...
  7. Questions regarding rubbers' durability.

Yes of course. It works very well but it's annoying as hell. You need to get the color changing version and several large boxes of it. When one is saturated, put it into the oven to regenerate and grab a spare. Great for short term storage too of course. But you'd be surprised how quickly...
  8. Replacement for Dignics09c?

Just boost the dignics, then it lasts 6 months
  9. Xiom Tau II

So the Tau has a softer topsheet than vega DEF? Is the grip better? I find the DEF to be quite soft already. The DEF is not that slow, it's way faster than any hurricane for sure, and comparable to any controlled tensors like fastarc series, but the top gear is faster than any other rubber (it...
  10. Xiom Tau II

Could you also compare those rubbers to vega DEF? I would probably like something with the same sponge but a bit softer and with a tacky topsheet.
  11. Tacky Chinese Rubber on the Backhand?

Cheap Chinese rubbers on BH are fine if they are not rock hard and you boost them a lot. H3 37 deg or mercury 2 medium work well but you will need to drive the ball more than with Euro rubbers. Good luck!
  12. ZJK super zlc with h3

If he thinks a TB ALC or viscaria is linear, then Zjk SZLC is the opposite. That much I agree on. However, viscaria is way more bouncy than szlc. Just put a fast rubber on both and do some BH blocks against TS. Then you will see what I mean. Anyways, due to no bounce, szlc is indeed not good...
  13. ZJK super zlc with h3

Okay, but keep in mind that ZJSZLC is the H3 of blades. It's extremely linear, competely non bouncy. So it doubles the deadness of H3. Can't recommend that unless you boost heavily. That being said, if I was a much better player I would play it. And I'm a solid intermediate player with good...
  14. ZJK super zlc with h3

I have played with the blade and nittaku h3 turbo orange. You need a really high level and great technique as well as physical fitness to get any speed with that. Plays really dead. Was much better and overall okay with 09c though.
  15. Backhand change Dignics 05 to 09c or.....

09c is usable on BH, but you have to reboost it after 3 months as it becomes a brick around that time.
  16. Dhs H301x vs H301

I switched to h301 from persson powerplay for the new season. Compared to that the 301 has more medium gears, thus faster on average shots, but max power is about the same. Also the throw is higher, way higher than usual carbon blades, but block and smash still very controllable. Haven't tried...
  17. H301 vs Persson Powerplay

    PlayaPingPong, it's a reputable seller.
  18. H301 vs Persson Powerplay

aliexpress. Try to contact a seller before you order. Sorry, I'm not planning to sell mine :)
  19. H301 vs Persson Powerplay

Well, finally got to try the H301, lol. It's much more flexible than the Powerplay. Makes a significantly higher arc. Any kind of direct shot is worse though, smash goes too high usually. However, it's easier to play controlled medium fast shots, or shorter strokes, due to the carbon. Power...
  20. Higher or lower throw

low arc rubber = difficult to make high arc high arc rubber = not really difficult to make low arc, but a bit more difficult than with low arc rubber
