  1. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

There is a myth that pre-made paddles in Tesco/Wallmart are not much different than what professionals use.
  2. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

When was that rubber made? The oldest one I remember is Stiga Innova Premium (around 2005ish) with thinner topsheet than Rasanter and 2.6mm sponge which is thicker as well.
  3. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

I used to play with Calibra Tour back in the day when it was a new rubber. I think you made a good choice. ESN rubbers durability is pretty bad (except for G-1), they play good for about 2 months then they start to play really bad. The Calibras and Airocs played about the same for very long...
  4. Weird looking rubber after boosting

I think you used too much booster and didn't brush it evenly.
  5. Joola Zhou Qihao Super AL-c 90 review

I tried several on both blades. I liked harder Chinese rubbers on W968 more on the FH side like the LAC, boosted H3N and Dingtian. I didn't like Rakza Z EH so much. On the Zhou Qihao I tried H8-80, Tibhar K2, Rakza Z EH, H3N for longer periods of time. H3N wasn't my favorite but the others were...

Thanks, that's a pretty objective standpoint. I will probably just stay with G-1. While stable BH blocking sounds attractive for a lefty, for me also the BH open-up and chiquita are equally if not more important. I like a little FTL boosted G-1 since it is helping so much while having grip...
  7. Mizuno Q Quality a cheap and performant tensor that matches Tenergy 05 at half price

One weird thing about this rubber is it's soft and hard. If I have a thin contact with the ball and try to stretch the topsheet it's really soft. But if I open the racket angle and do more of a hit and it becomes hard. It's nice since it gives a lot of options how to play a ball. Once can chose...

Back to using the ZQ90 from W968 and the first couple of things I notice is that it's a lot faster. Thicker FL handle, quite a bit lighter. These are not surprising things, but it's a lot crisper and harder. But the contact feeling with the ball is not reduced, probably because of the clear and...

This looks so weird. It has no ITTF registration number, but it is on the LARC. But the mold there is different. Why in the world would 729 do this? At training like who cares, but probably in a competition this would be ruled out, right? How's the Moon 12? Like compared to G-1? For the same...
  10. Stiga Dynasty Carbon xu xin alternatives

Nothing really. Koto top ply with ayous core is very rare, and not many if any big brands work with textreme or tow carbon at all and in the Dynasty blade it's actually an outer carbon too. If you don't wanna spend the big bucks on one then you can "hire" a custom blade maker to do it. Sergio...

I agree, even when bubbled up when you hit a dead spot it doesn't 100% do something weird, it's like a 20% weird and 80% the same as normal. If one can get 2 months out of it I think it's reasonable.
  12. What is the difference of DHS Hurricane 8 VS Hurricane 8-80 rubber.

That is crazy. I have a red 37d at 48g and black 38d at 52g cut.

Who is the tallest girl in the Shenzhen team who acted like the team coach? I would not be late from her coaching that is for sure :sneaky:

Funny thing I noticed... I normally use Revolution Cleaner and Rejuvenator. I like it since it works with Chinese and ESN rubbers, but particularly with ESN, it kind of does some rejuvenation, or at least it seems that way. With Q Quality it doesn't do much, maybe even makes it worse??? Not...

Ah yes, Neottec. Those German glues can be a massive pain to remove. Not only they destroy sponges they also destroy the skin on the finger. My 37 deg version is a bit weak too, once I didn't remove it carefully and near the edge the sponge got a bit torn. But glue peeling was never a problem...

Jesus, looks like a mouse was hungry. What glue?

The H8-80 is a good rubber. I wish DHS would make it with 40deg sponge but, maybe then it would be more like the LAC. H8-80 is pretty durable.

I tried them today again. Humidity does not affect them in the slightest. The topsheet feels super dry even in the worst of hot and humid conditions. ------------------------------------- I glued it on my BH side replacing the G-1. It's faster out of the pack than G-1 boosted. It's shockingly...
