  1. Video Footage Safe Thread

Btw i don't know why I finish so high on the flat hits (first 20 seconds of video). It felt like I would finish much flatter but I'm still lifting the bat pretty high.
  2. Video Footage Safe Thread

I think I made a bit of progress. I did some flat hits first but here in the video like next level suggested and in the end I added some loops. You think it is a bit better too? https://youtu.be/hQsLg5zFLw8
  3. What rubbers to change to,

I Don't know anything about the rubbers but going from a soft to a medium hardness rubber sounds like a sensible choice for progression. Probably better than going to a hard one and risking to have to downgrade again because you don't master the hard one yet.
  4. Video Footage Safe Thread

Yeah i see what you mean. Pros all end up the follow through in the same position woth the upper arm horizontal pointing forward and lower arm almost vertical above that. Unfortunately the tables are public tables with some errors and machine can't shoot faster. I could make it shoot lower by...
  5. Alternative beginner tensor rubber

I think looking at the descriptions the andro gtt should be fine, it is described as a moderate tensor. Btw do you think the boll alc is the right blade at this point if you need a moderate tensor rubber?
  6. Video Footage Safe Thread

How can you build a new hit? Do you mean a flat couter drive?
  7. Video Footage Safe Thread

Yeah I feel I'm using shoulder too much. How can I use the shoulder less? Basically just using the forearm and not swinging the upper arm?
  8. Video Footage Safe Thread

https://youtu.be/-z6_LpU3Zx8 Made a new video FH and BH. Still doesn't look pretty but I feel I can swing faster and get more spin on it.
  9. My setup feels like a literal ROCK after trying this one

If you like a 3 year old rubber maybe your reading of and adjusting to spin needs some work. I would guess an older rubber would lose some grip and almost act like an anti rubber (not quite as extreme of course) so dealing with spin could be easier if you are not adjusting your blade angle to...
  10. Alternative beginner tensor rubber

Is there a blue version of that rubber? I know the neoflexx is available in green (and of course black and red) but not blue
  11. Red and Black are different?

The ESN companies have been asked that question and claim there is no difference. I assume that modern chinese rubbers are not really different either and that was a production issue 20 years ago but players just sticked with it due to tradition and emulating their idols.
  12. Developing adult player - advice and TB ALC with Tenergy 05?

Most recommend around 1.8 to 1.9 for beginner level players. That offers a bit more control than max but I read very thin ones) like 1.5) aren't good for learning technique either as they work better for flat hitting than looping.
  13. Top 10 Best Backhand Rubbers of All Time

I think he is talking about rubbers for pro players. Modern game is hitting hard with both sides so pros will use hard rubbers on BH too. For a beginner or even intermediate player those rubbers might not be well suited at all.
  14. Developing adult player - advice and TB ALC with Tenergy 05?

As an adult beginner I would use an all wood 5 ply blade and a slower, softer european rubber. I started with fast blade and chinese rubber too and it didn't work out too well for me (btw I also played tennis). Now I went to a 5 ply allround blade (sanwei m8) and gewo neoflex eft 45 on both...
  15. GLUE SHEETS...The Good, the Bad (and the Ugly?)

Aren't glue sheets really only for Ox rubbers? I think for inverted or sponged pips water glue is really better. I tried glue sheet once and it was a huge pain to remove it from the blade.
  16. Good blade and rubber for Chinese penholder short pip?

What blade did he play before and what is his level. Also how much do you want to spend? Most seem to suggest a stiffer blade for SP than for inverted looping so depending on the level a 7 ply or carbon blade. But others certainly would have more experience in that regard than me, but maybe...
  17. FZD transition to a new style

I doubt the equipment makes a big difference for him, maybe he is just using this year to experiment a little and bring a bit more variety into his game. At first it might make him worse but long term he might benefit if he finds the right balance. The modern game is close to the table with...
  18. Blade splintering due to rubber overhang

There are foam edge tapes that are like 2 or 3mm thick. Maybe they will offer a better protection.
  19. Please Explain this FH video instruction (especially korean guys)

I have tried the turning in move and I think so far it has helped my loop. I haven't done it very much, just a very slight turn in of the wrist of maybe 5 degrees or so. I feel it helps me hitting the ball a little thinner and do a little "cupping" over the top so I can swing faster without it...
  20. Greetings from a SANWEI Official

I like sanwei, it is making solid products at good prices. I made myself a half kpen half cpen bat from a less than 20 bucks m8 and I like how it plays although of course I'm not high level enough to judge it really good.
