  1. What is STIGA Cybershape?

Stiga marketing guys must be drooling, young talented guy who hasn't broken out yet and is ranked 77 in the world switches to that new blade and medals in worlds a few weeks later. Of course in reality it probably wasn't due to the racket but a young talented guy improving (and getting a good...
  2. About the match between Liang Jingkun and Liam Pitchford in wttc

Definitely sucks that people are saying stuff like that and they should be kicked out. Regarding ban for life I doubt they will attend another WTTC anyway, I doubt they where really table tennis fans but probably drunk American event fans who went because it is something to do, that might even...
  3. Comeback of the year - Truls vs Lim - Houston 2021

I actually think he did those trick shots not to mess with lim's rhythm but because he had given up in his mind and just wanted to finish it but then he realized lim struggled and then he got motivated again and tried to turn it around which he did
  4. Interesting instructional channel

Pretty interesting drills, especially for forehand https://youtu.be/qW-mspkbik4
  5. A word of appreciation to Yinhe Pro 01

Maybe you can sand down the grip a little?
  6. Ideal contact height for forehand topspin

I think I'm probably standing too tall. I notice I hit the ball better when I'm lower but it is hard to sustain that as my legs start burning . I probably need to get fitter :)
  7. Ideal contact height for forehand topspin

That makes sense, if you bring down the shoulders (where the arm is attached) closer to net level and you hit the ball at about net level it is easier to pull forward more horizontally.
  8. Ideal contact height for forehand topspin

For some reason adding links doesn't work for me Edit works now https://youtu.be/u7zsVJ_yqAQ
  9. Ideal contact height for forehand topspin

I watched some pro videos and looked at the height of contact. Often in comparison to the net it was hit around net height or so and lower against backspin but I'm more talking in relation to the body. I have seen many pros staying rather low and then hit the ball around chest high. But when...
  10. Blades under $20

What blade are you looking for? Fast, slow, all wood or carbon? Yinhe and DHS has blades in that range.
  11. How to help the mind of my GF

If you Want to have sex you need to let her win:)I would say she needs to relax and stop caring so much, she is not a pro and win or lose her life is not depending on it
  12. Dhs H301 / Donic Waldner WC89 OFF/ YINHE V14 pro?

I have the v14 pro and I like it but I'm not qualified and experienced enough to judge its quality as that is really my first non wall mart type of bat
  13. TT specific Fitness/injury prevention routines

Are you doing exercises specific for TT to improve health and injury resistance? I had some shoulder issues that got better after doing some shoulder routine. I did 1 set of 10 of each excersise every day using a 2 liter bottle in each hand as a weight. Standing lateral raise...
  14. New Blade for player with wrist problems and physically weak

Is there a structural damage to the wrist? Often training the forearm muscles Will help wrist pain because the muscles support the wrist tendons more. Unless you have an accute inflammation, then you need to rest it first.
  15. A word of appreciation to Yinhe Pro 01

Great play. I'm using a yinhe v14 pro and like it too, those are not bad rackets. What rubbers do you use?
  16. New Blade for player with wrist problems and physically weak

It age 27 I would suggest to get stronger. You don't need to be Arnold but do some push ups, squats and sit ups every day and for the wrist do forearm training like squeezing a tennis ball or stuff like this https://youtu.be/CjYdOaWhnTk I understand if older people need lighter equipment but at...
  17. Top Spin vs Loop Kill

Great Posting style insulting the poster and not offering a constructive criticism on how to do it better.
  18. Top Spin vs Loop Kill

Imo going going for a winner against backspin is a low percentage strategy for amateur players unless the backspin is too short or bounces too high. If it floats high you can kill it but if it is a good low backspin ball I would hit a soft spinny loop and then if the opponent blocks it back you...
  19. Dignics 09c in cold weather

I think table tennis rubbers are simply not made for cold climate, because competitions even in cold regions usually happen in warm gyms. Thus the rubbers are probably optimized for like 20 celsius (70f) and not really made for winter outdoor play.Rubber generally will get harder and less elastic...
