Hey Igor, nor hard sponge nor heavy boosting is intended to make us a real speedster!!! ;-) Hard sponge is so that we don't feel like wasting energy. Boosting is to increase tension, perhaps make a bit more lively.

I'm using a foam too - car glass foam. Apply a bit, clean, but not let dry. Put/spray water and wipe all out.

Very good point about 25mm table, imo. I regret having 19mm table, it is slower. Not that bad for hitting, but bad for serve training. In retrospect, I'd go for 22mm at least.
