  1. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

Since Stiga has changed to the metal badge I've only seen them say 'Made in Sweden, est. 1944' or 'Sweden, est. 1944'. Could be there are different badges for different countries or territories, e.g. only blades for Japan are stamped JTTAA,
  2. The lightest hybrid type rubber

I normally weigh any rubbers I'm fitting to list on mytabletennis.net. Here are some of the lighter hybrid ones I've done for people recently: Brand: Andro Rubber ID/Model: Nuzn 45 Colour: Black Thickness: 1.9mm Uncut Mass: 59g Length: 170 Width: 170 Measured sponge hardness: 45° Shore O...
  3. Victas Rubber Cutter

I've purchased one and will report once I've had a chance to try it out - for once I don't have any bats to get ready for either myself or anyone else. It looks like the blades are replaceable.
  4. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Also in their previous 2024 WTT match in Chongqing, although Hugo won 3-2, Dima actually scored more points overall in the match. Obviously Hugo scored his when it mattered more, but I'd still call this a very close match.
  5. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Losing in the 5th 11-9 to Dima isn't a disaster and wouldn't have been a huge upset if it happened before he changed to Joola.
  6. An ambiguous question concerning the long pimples

The blade and the age and condition of the pips can both have a big effect on how they behave, so it is entirely possible they would be different to your training partners without being modified. It is also possible to vary the effect depending on the technique used, either intentionally or...
  7. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Yes, interestingly the side with the lens on is the outer carbon, so nominally the forehand side, but being used the other way round.
  8. Is there a subjectively perfect weight to every blade?

Since I changed to OX long pips, I found the overall set up weight effects how they play quite a lot. If I try out a different inverted rubber on my spare set up, if it is the same weight as on my main blade, then the pips play the same and I can get on with evaluating the inverted rubber. A...
  9. Thoughts on Rhyzer Pro 50 and Golden Tango

TIBHAR Hybrid K1 European Version is the one which is the same as Golden Tango PS
  10. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Do you have a link to the 2026 catalogues? Thanks.
  11. Tt-japan

I did, they didn't respond, although they did add me to their mailing list 🤷
  12. Tt-japan

I understand why they would have such a policy, but it is frustrating that they don't bring the full range into the UK. Looks like I'm going to have to find an alternative to their Wave Medal SP5. The BOA closure system makes so much sense for table tennis, but I've always had to buy them from...
  13. Multicolor rubbers fading

The green DTECS Grass and Purple Hellfire X rubbers seem very popular with long pips users, and I'm seeing quite a few purple Joola Dynaryz and blue Tibhar Hybrid MK out in the wild.
  14. Best Handle and Shape but MK Carbon too fast 😞 Help

One of the custom blade makers, such as @SDC will be able to make you exactly what you want
  15. Sleeping after a late TT session

I have the same problem, but mostly after competitive matches. It does seem that something about table tennis makes it worse than other sports, which I have done at a higher level than I play table tennis at, and I never had any issues sleeping after those.
  16. Any news and info on Zhang Jike's New donic bluegrip j line?

I'd be interested in how the NUZN and J1 compare. NUZN and 09C are both better for me if I use 1 thin layer of booster when I first fit them. I don't reboost, so I suspect I am mostly speeding up the break-in process, rather than dramatically altering the performance.
  17. Carbon blade for long pips

Sreeja Akula and Manika Batra seem to do ok
  18. Help , Boosted H3N cheaper+durable alternative.

How are you able to practice 92 hours a week?
  19. Do you prepare more than one racket for league matches / tournaments?

I tend to get two blades of the same model and weight so I can have one as a back up, but in reality I always end up using the 2nd one to try out a different rubber before committing to it on my main blade.
  20. Best rubbers (only ESN/Japanese) for spinny serves

I've had a couple of people mention they are having more trouble with my serves since I changed to Andro Nuzn, I'm not sure why, maybe its a bit less bouncy. I think the tackiness is negligible and I can't see how it would be enough to make any noticeable difference.
