  2. Nittaku Gyo-En Review

I've tried a Gyo-En and thought it was fine. It does have a little vibration, but certainly doesn't rattle.
  3. Nittaku SO-TEN & GYO-EN

Briefly - compared to a Viscaria I would say it has a slightly less muted feel. Possibly slightly harder, but it was brand new, so that may be the reason and possibly a fraction slower, but the one I tried was pretty light at 82g and I'm fairly sure when I've tried other peoples Viscarias or...
  4. [Request] Post your SDC blades

I have a few... Currently using the one on the left, which is Koto/ALC/Ayous/Kiri/Ayous/A-C/Ash, 82.2g - 5.60mm - 1464Hz - Balance: 2.6cm The idea being the koto side is similar to a Viscaria type composition, with a slightly harder touch on the other side for my short pips. It took a while to...
  5. Sword equipment?

Currently using Sword Longcan short pips. For the money (currently approx. £13), I can't fault it. Quality seems very good and consistent.
  6. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

  7. Does a slower blade with a Viscaria-like feeling exist?

Andro Hexer Powergrip or Donic Baracuda possibly? They a both grippy with a medium sponge. Although I would class them as offensive rubbers, they aren't as fast as some, but still reasonably fast.
  8. Does a slower blade with a Viscaria-like feeling exist?

20-30% might be a bit of a push, but you have a few options: You could go for slower, rather than softer rubbers, possibly in slightly thinner than Max. For example, for me Spinlord Ozelot is noticeably slower than the latest ESN Tensors or Butterfly rubbers, but the top sheet is just as...
  9. Upcoming Joola rubbers

This seems to be the case with all ESN tacky rubbers, does anyone know why this would be?
  10. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

Still getting this issue on various desktops - fine on a mobile in the same locations
  11. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

Thanks for looking at this. It was still doing it for me as of this morning, although no issues on a mobile using the same internet provider.
  12. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

I seem to get an awful lot of '522' errors when trying to access the site via desktop from some locations
  13. Spinlord Keiler 2

Weird - does that top sheet feel the same as your normal Keiler? Are you using a different colour or thickness than before and is this on the same blade? It was more or less what I was expecting, although if it would be worth the amount of time it would take to adjust for essentially a bit...
  14. Mizuno shoes

I have some of these - the Japanese size seems pretty accurate
  15. Spinlord Keiler 2

Can't say I noticed this, I was playing someone who likes to chop or fish the ball back with spin if they end up away from the table. It did need quite a bit of adjustment with regards to the angle of the blade, which is easy enough when I'm practicing, but will take more time before it becomes...
  16. Spinlord Keiler 2

Curiosity got the better of me and I bought a sheet to try out. The purple sponge is definitely harder and faster than the previous version. I also think the violet topsheet of Keiler II is a bit more grippy than the red of Keiler. It plays like a short pip with slightly more disruption than...
  17. Spinlord Keiler 2

Are you using this currently? Obviously you won't have been using it for too long, as it has only just become available, but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Have you have ever used the previous Keiler and or ORKan II for comparison? Thanks!
  18. Butterfly officially announces Glazer and Glazer 09C

I'm quite sceptical that Tenergy has a lower 'arc line' than Dignics, unless I'm misunderstanding what they mean by that or something has been lost in translation.
  19. Tell me about your experience playing a blade with different laminates on either side, like Koto and Limba etc.

Closer to being a useful tool, although it is very much fine tuning, not a complete game changer.
  20. Tell me about your experience playing a blade with different laminates on either side, like Koto and Limba etc.

I've had a few asymmetric blades and currently use an SDC with Koto on one side and Ash on the other, but have also tried the following combinations Limba/Maple, Limba/Walnut, Framiré/Ash and Koto/Ovangkal. As one side will affect the other and the difference between the sides is mostly the...
