  1. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

G-1 and C-1 last very long, maybe even longer than Tenergy, G-1 especially. Rakza 7 is up there too, so is Rakza Z. I find that Rakza X is not as grippy, it's more smooth, so it doesn't last as long but still fairly long. Vega's last at least as long as Rakza X, even though they're supposedly...
  2. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Thanks Kuba, but this goes from #18 to #21 and the MyTT thread doesn't seem to have a definite answer on the #22 sponge. Are all non-Neo H3 Provincial Blue Sponge considered #22? This one doesn't say...
  3. San Francisco looking for training partner.

I don't think it's a different variant, it's a production code, so made at a different date or at different DHS factories. Did you buy them from the same place? The commercial version can vary from sheet to sheet, from 38 to 40 degrees Shore A (49 to 53 Shore C). The sponge colors on your...
  4. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

While on the subject of H3, can someone tell me the difference between the #22 sponge and the regular (#20)?
  5. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

I don't boost and my H3 doesn't feel like stone or unresponsive.
  6. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

Yea, the way pricing is here, it makes more sense for me to buy Tenergy, if I'm not buying Fastarc, Rakza, Vega (or Evo). I know it's very different in the US where Butterfly prices are completely insane, which will make me think twice when I move back there in a year or two. I'm not a fan of...
  7. First Custom Racket for Beginner suggestions

It's good to let us know before we make recommendations that will be too expensive for nothing. In that case, I'd follow Kuba's recommendation. He suggested a great setup that's affordable.
  8. Butterfly Tenergy 19

On Butterfly Europe, same as other Tenergy's: 59.90€. In the US: $83.99 + tax, so a little more than the other Tenergy's ($79.99 + tax).
  9. Butterfly Tenergy 19

Yea, I also think it's more likely that it'll be harder feeling than T05. I'll definitely wait for some reviews, including TTD's!
  10. Butterfly Tenergy 19

What I'm wondering most about T19, is how hard its topsheet feels compared to T05 and T80. Its pimple structure is more dense than both of them which would indicate that it feels harder than both, but its pimples are also smaller and Butterfly seems to say the ball penetrates more (at high...
  11. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

I think Carbonado 45 is actually slower than HL5. And if I remember right, Carbonado 145 is close to Viscaria/TB ALC. And 245 is faster and stiffer (more carbon per m2).
  12. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

I'm currently using Tenergy 05 FX in 1.9mm on my BH which seems to work just fine. Since I mostly picked up my Viscaria again to test how H3 would feel on it, and it immediately felt like a great pairing, I've yet to test a bunch of rubbers on it for my BH. I tried T05 on it and that just felt...
  13. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Yea, I'm not interested in boosting yet either. I think H3 is already very good as is for my current needs, and a lot of people's needs. Hope it works for you on your Carbonado. For me, I definitely need the little extra kick of the Viscaria to back it up which is why I started using that...
  14. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

I don't know the peeps that sell it to me, so they're not buddies, but that's what I pay for my rubbers, that's what counts at the end of the day. Either that, or the list prices, or all the prices.
  15. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

I do think that on FH, H3 is meant to be harder, minimum 38-39, otherwise it doesn't reach its optimal sponge/topsheet combination and it therefore lacks support. A blade like the Viscaria definitely provides a boost/support to my otherwise unboosted 38-40 commercial H3 Neo. Do you boost?
  16. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

It's not, there's list prices and market prices. It's a 2€ difference if you're not resourceful (60€ vs 58€), 1€ difference is you are (45€ vs. 46€). You're telling me you buy your Evolution and Rakza rubbers for 46-47€?
  17. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

If your club as a discount contract with Dandoy, you can likely get -10% on Butterfly and -20% on other brands. Then individual sellers often sell new sealed Tenergy's for 45-50€ on TT blogs and groups.
  18. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

I'm speaking of individual sellers like on TT blogs and groups.
  19. Yinhe "wu" blade

Thick and stiff blade, best for hitters.
  20. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

Yes, I'm talking about the list price indeed. Tenergy's are 60€ on Butterfly Europe. I get them at 10% off, so 54€. Then a lot of individual sellers sell them new sealed for 45€. Omega VII's are 58€. Of course it's easy to get them at 20% off, so 46€. Not that big a difference in price...
