  1. Tenergy 19

    Hi, there's already a thread on T19: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?24749-Butterfly-Tenergy-19
  2. BTY Alc blade alternative

I will also add Yasaka Alnade, Yinhe Pro Power and Donic Baum Esprit to this old but useful thread.
  3. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

Haha, hey there Der, Would love to finally meet you and chat over some K-BBQ or some other deliciousness I miss the next time I'm stateside! It's been too long since my wife and I visited our beloved LA (she's born and raised, and I had been living there for 6 years before we moved to France 3...
  4. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

I'm always curious what fellow Viscaria/ALC or H3 users combine them with, so thanks for sharing! How would you compare Battle 2 with H3N in general? Do you have a preference between the two? I'll be trying H3 non-Neo soon too on various blades, Provincial and Blue Sponge later for fun as...
  5. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

You're welcome KM! I appreciate your contributions to the forum as well. I'm fairly new to H3 (only Chinese rubber I've tried), I might go back to tension rubbers on FH eventually (if I do, likely T80, T05 FX, G-1, C-1 or R7), but I really appreciate it right now, I will very likely stick with...
  6. Tenergy 19 Review

When's your review scheduled to come out David? You might post your request for suggestions on what to cover during your review on the main T19 thread so you get more people to partcipate: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?24749-Butterfly-Tenergy-19
  7. Alternative to boosted DHS Provincial Hurricane 3

I'll let others answer as I have not tried H8, but I found this review to be excellent if you haven't read it yet: https://blog.tabletennis11.com/dhs-hurricane-8-table-tennis-rubbers-review-39-degree-40-degree PS: Do you use G-1/MX-P on your FH or BH?
  8. Most Requested Table Tennis Review Ever | Rakza 7

I've used Rakza 7 on several blades, Viscaria, Innerforce AL, Korbel, Virtuoso, Harimoto ALC, Primorac OFF-, Hadraw VK, Acoustic, and it felt great on both FH and BH on all of them. I haven't tried the Carbonado 45, but I know it's a particular blade in that it's a low/soft carbon-type, which...
  9. Most Requested Table Tennis Review Ever | Rakza 7

Since you have the know-how, the testing equipment and it wouldn't take long, it would be great and very valuable if you would test rubbers and blades scientifically and publish your findings! Similar to what TTGear Lab does with his graphs but more in-depth.
  10. Butterfly Tenergy 19

Interested to hear more detailed feedback from you once you've tested T19 longer and more thoroughly, and hopefully with someone on the other end of the table!
  11. Butterfly Tenergy 19

They mostly say that they found T19 easier to use and more forgiving than T05, and that the ball penetrates the sponge more. They seem to hint that it's a bit slower than T05 but with more spin, whereas Butterfly claims T19 is both faster and spinnier, though not by much. I think the key here...
  12. Alternative to boosted DHS Provincial Hurricane 3

Rakza Z is a good rubber, but only slightly tacky, so nowhere near H3 or H3N.
  13. New Equipment 2021

Pics and link please! Looks like they each come in 3 different colors, that's new. https://www.nittaku.com/products/rackets/post-152 https://www.nittaku.com/products/rackets/post-153
  14. Andro Rasanter R48 - Suitable for whom

Hi brokenball, I'm guessing Rakza 7 is also more controllable and provides more safety than R48? I haven't tried R48, but that is what I like about about R7, whereas I found other Rasanters to be quite bouncy. Seems like at least several Andro-sponsored players use R53 on their FH, including...
  15. Tenergy 19 Review

Hey Brian, First off, I think it's cool that you're asking people for what they'd like to find out from your upcoming review. Personally, and you've kinda already answered this with a press test, I'd really like to know if T19's topsheet is harder and more importantly if the whole rubber feels...
  16. Do you protect your Dignics with special foil?

Foil is always good to protect rubbers whether they are grippy or sticky, I prefer ones that don't have much glue like the Nittaku or Butterfly ones.
  17. Butterfly Tenergy 19

Great review! Thanks for sharing David. T19 does sound promising. Based on what they say, it could also maybe suit my BH: Compared to T05, "not as meaty, no mute feel, more subtle and clear feel, more amateur friendly, contact between blade and rubber is more direct, high level of fault...
  18. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

Hey Latej, I bought and tried Rakza Z when it first came out, mostly to compare it to R7 (one of my favorite rubbers ever), and to see how sticky it was. While I thought it was a very good rubber, kinda like a slightly harder/upgraded version of R7 if you will with a little stickiness, if I do...
  19. Xiom Omega VII Euro vs...

Not the first blanket statement, hey! I also noticed a few. 😉
