Yes, it depends on the rubber. Look at Kreanga ripping backhands with Tenergy 05 FX... All tension rubbers bottom out at some point, but not at the same point, there are huge differences.. PS: Rozena is not really a soft rubber, it's considered medium.

Tap water can contain residues, impurities, chlorine, iron, minerals... so I prefer to use distilled water in a small spray bottle.

Based on what you're looking for (OP), the Nittaku Acoustic, OSP Virtuoso OFF- or Stiga Azalea OFF- would be great. If you find that they don't have enough speed for you, then Nittaku Acoustic Carbon (Inner then Outer) or OSP Virtuoso +.
