  1. Should I take the plunge?

You have nothing to lose so why not yry it?
  2. serve

Getting more specific and also providing a path to get where you want to be: It is good to start by developing two serves that look pretty similar and that arent't. One can be fairly heavy and the other one less heavy, but the important thing is they have to look the same in terms of motion...
  3. Time to spill the beans!

In 2017 I went to watch the WTTC in Germany. Yes, you really need to find a way to watch this. It is incredible.
  4. Time to spill the beans!

Of course I forgot to mention the two-sided power meter that this machine would of course come with, so add another thousand. And if your riding something like that, it would be insane to not have the latest boa shoes. Kind of makes the 120 bucks I paid for the Viscaria I have been using for...
  5. Advice on learning

Just play more. It all works out with more time. With a coach it might take less time.
  6. serve

Adding to the more general things people have already written, the advantage is often produced by the serve being in some way slightly different than it appears to be and/or or in a place the opponent has trouble covering
  7. Equipment worth it or not??

    Great blade, great rubber.
  8. New announcement from T2 to "change the game"

    Balls shaped like pyramids.
  9. HISTORY OF US TABLE TENNIS by TIM BOGGAN

Hmm. Boggan's writing style must be an aquired taste. I never figured out how to acquire that taste. It amazed me that the dude actually taught writing for a living. He did have juicy gossip though.
  10. Time to spill the beans!

I just wish my two favorite coaches still lived in my city. EJwise? Nothing. I like my blade and the rubber I use. I have three boxes of TT shoes unopened. I have some cool shirts. So what else? Maybe a Pinarello F10 Dogma with DuraAce Di2. About $12,000. Because compared to road...
  11. Japan Open 2018

Zeio, thanks again for the huge service you provide to TT forums. I would have no way of finding out a lot of the stuff you dig up and translate. I for one truly appreciate it.
  12. Moving on from Hardbat

One possibility is a Butterfly Korbel with Xiom Vega inverted. You might just put the inverted on the FH for now and put a hardbat rubber on your BH. That is just one possibility. The problem with your last question is there are a gazillion good answers that you will receive. There are a...
  13. Allwood performance with Poly ball

Maybe too the rubber is the issue.
  14. Allwood performance with Poly ball

Yes, that might not be easy with a Viscaria. Only one way to know though.
  15. Moving on from Hardbat

Try a clubmate's blade and see what you like. This transition will not be easy but will be worth it for you in the long run.
  16. Allwood performance with Poly ball

My opinion runs counter the the trend of this thread. I think a lot of players who were fine with all-wood before would benefit now with some sort of composite blade such as a Viscaria or TB-ALC or the like.
  17. Help me i am a equiment junkie

This could cure you. This is the kind of blade that caused a nearly complete remission of my EJ ism. For blades. But there are always rubbers. Shoes. Etc.
  18. BH: T05 -> T64 on slow flexi blade?

The collective experience in my city is that t64 works better on all-wood and T05 works better on composites as a general rule. Make sure to spend a lot of time working on your short game with rubbers that fast.
  19. Changing from Boosted Tenergy 05 to Boosted Tenergy 64 Issues

It's been a really long time since I used it, but I also found T64 to be a little faster and a little lower in throw. When T05 first came out a lot of people found it really hard to get used to and T64 made a good transition to that super high throw. After playing with t64 for a few weeks...
  20. Changing from Boosted Tenergy 05 to Boosted Tenergy 64 Issues

The sponge is the same, only the pip structure of the top sheet is different, so my guess is it is something you did in application that was different.
