I've played with the HALC and really like HAL. Different rubber on one side and the HALC stint was a couple of years ago (didn't master the flex and blocked into net I told myself... :)) but if my memory serves me right the HAL is slightly more head heavy. Or maybe I should say MY HAL is...

Oh yes, they are not unusable! :) But not really made for above average sized hands either. Ok. Small changes can make noticable differances!

None of them. They are all too short for large hands. FL handle - the Viscaria (FZD has the same specs) is bigger than the TB ALC. ST handle - TB ALC is still slimmer but the squarish shape is a bit fuller to the hand so to speak.

What is the short black stripe on the edge of the blade? Can’t really be regular tape since it is such a short bit, can it? Some weight perhaps?

This on is easy to understand. If I played table tennis two-three times a day I would have a blade-maker make me an adult sized handle as well.

I always thought that companies made stuff to sell. If they made special stuff for special people then surely there would be a market for those items as well, right? People pay shitloads for different brands and exclusive stuff. Why on earth would a manufacturer/seller try to hide something...

I've always felt that Freitas is faster then Viscaria. Thicker and more powerful. Not by a lot but a little.

I meant that the sponge dies before the topsheet. But I havent really used ESN rubbers in a while so it might have changed.

Aren't most ESN made rubbers like that?

They did release other blades with his name pretty much at the same time though.

Played with 8-80 for a while but the weight just became too much. Rakza Z i a similar rubber with similar problems...

No real successor to the HAL. The 36.5-blades seems to be back though.
