Hari-bpy still passive but managed to fight through it. If he doesn't adapt, the ultra aggressive players will continue to eat him up, he has to take the initiative and live with the results.

    I use Canada
  3. Saudi Smash 2024

Yes. Nina lost to Amy in 2021 in Houston, so Amy knows her style can work, Nina wants to back off the table and play topspins but she can't do that against Amy without risk so she has stick to a plan which might not be how she really wanted to play but that is competitive table tennis sometimes.
  4. Saudi Smash 2024

All the opponents played well, all of them are players she has struggled with in other contexts.
  5. Saudi Smash 2024

It's called a talent for ball feeling - she has had a relatively awkward, backhand oriented Oh Sang Eun style through out her play, even as a child. Her forehand and footwork has always been her relative weakness.
  6. Saudi Smash 2024

Yes, it is all about the tournament format - nothing to do with the opponent lol ;).
  7. Saudi Smash 2024

Dima teaching him respect for his elders :D.

Bajor is like a box of chocolate - you never know what you are going to get. Now the Future faces the Pharoah on table 3...
  9. Saudi Smash 2024

2-0, 9-4 - Bernie is going to be pissed if Bajor closes this out.
  10. Saudi Smash 2024

Pitchford seems to not be on point vs defense - but maybe it is Filus in form and a rough patch... Gauzy didn't complain about a single WCQ serve in person... interesting.
  11. Saudi Smash 2024

Kallberg snatches defeat from the jaws of victory yet again!
  12. Saudi Smash 2024

Gauzy gets to face the big head man-to-man!
  13. Saudi Smash 2024

Pretty much the Ding Ning serve, but she can serve straight heavy backspin out of it with a different swing to the short righty backhand as a changeup that was very effective. That straight backspin won her a few points at crucial moments.
  14. Saudi Smash 2024

My comment was in response to your post about CCY beating LYJ where you asked why we were not blaming CCY for his ranking.
  15. Saudi Smash 2024

Don't think anyone would call influenza an excuse except the most macho competitors. But competing is like that, especially when you can't get out of playing.
  16. Saudi Smash 2024

It was always a miracle for him to make the QF. He won the match he was favored to win and should be the underdog by seeding in the next match. By seeding, he is not supposed to make the QF.
  17. Saudi Smash 2024

Why should we, he isn't being hyped up as some terminator who the Chinese are quaking in their boots at facing and should be playing ahead of LYJ...
  18. Saudi Smash 2024

Yeah but Quadri served to a location with deception that he wasn't expecting. Mr Forehand is a smarter player than people give him credit for. Even the last thirdball was immaculate, that was probably the first time he took that shot the whole match.
  19. Saudi Smash 2024

Lin Yun Ju already out after a civil war with Chuang Chi Yuan. Whether in national interests or not, thanks WTT for profesionalizing the sport...
  20. Saudi Smash 2024

Don't let that matchball highlight be your main impression of the match, Drinkhall lost the first game but dominated the match.
