  1. Stiga Catalogue 2014/2015 (Airoc, Emerald VPS V, Poly ball)

Let's just be aware that the companies making the rubbers are mostly marketing companies. For example Adidas never made any decent table tennis equipment and suddenly apear on the market with some decent stuff, how is this possible ? Well , Adidas just orders their rubbers at a company named ESN...
  2. Best forehand in the world ?

Hello paellota, please watch this whole youtube movie, i know Saive in his later periods of play played a lot of lobs, but in his best years like you could see in this movie he played the forehand very directly and did not not lob a lot. I hope you realize lobbing against Waldner in those days...
  3. Best forehand in the world ?

I have to clarify indeed. The topic title is "Best FOREHAND in the world". Saive's forehand was the best in the world, his backhand technique was mediocre. Please watch (birmingham 1994 against Waldner). There are other matches in this period of time where Saive destroyed ALL the competition...
  4. Best forehand in the world ?

Hahahahahaha, Maze the best forehand , hahahahaha. The best injury provoking technique , jerking movements technique in the world !! Maze is playing like a jerking robot , hahahaha. The best forhand in the world WAS (yes it is the past now, in his best years) without any doubt Jean-Michel...
  5. Boosting with baby oil

i have tried baby oil but it didn't have any result, only the rubber got a little slippery, so a lot less spinny. use WD40 to boost the sponge (2 layers on the sponge) and 1 thin layer on the rubber surface. you can also boost with parrafin oil (lamp oil or kerosene)
  6. looking for a new backhand rubber like vega pro

hey Butt Stallion, i have played with Genius (normal 1,9 mm red) and i play now with Evolution Fx-p ( 1,9 mm red) on the same blade! I know that the Evolution has a little bit less catapult ( but be shure to glue the Evolution with the new white legal glue!). Also , I found the Evolution Fx-p to...
  7. Michael Maze is BACK!.... Officially

apparently , Maze is forcing yet again his body. He seems already being injured again. His style is just too jerky and he will continue to get injured easily. Everybody can see that his comeback will not hold for a long time.
  8. P

Comment by 'phillypong' in media 'DHS Europe Cup 2014 Highlights: Michael Maze vs Marcos Freitas (Final)'

Maze is already injured again ! Maze is back with back problems ! No wonder when you see how he plays, forcing a lot of shots.
  9. What bat should i buy?

just buy the Stiga Tube Allround, perfect control, i play on FH the Tibhar Evolution FX-P in 1,9 mm, awesome combination. i tested 2 days ago my old Donic Waldner Senso Carbon and found the Stiga blade a lot more balanced and controlled. you cant go wrong with this one. the advice from Der...
  10. Which booster?

Boosters are illegal ! Do not use them please . You can try simple paraffine oil (lamp oil).
  11. Incredible shot in the Belgium League!

this is the second league in Belgium, where B0 classed players like these two play. they would not win a lot in first league (="super ligue").
  12. Evolution FX-P

hi scorpnox and greigco, i play in Belgium too (1ste prov) and i used to play a Genius sound (the softest genius) in 2mm on my fh, i now play a evolution FX-P and i think it is comparable to the genius sound but has slightly less catapult, more linear speed, more control , about same amount of...
  13. wood or carbon?

also let us not forget that the table tennis companies want the top players to play with composite blades, because these blades are way more expensive than wood blades for example Samsonov in his best years played an all wood blade and later on he played (following tibhar) a Samsonov carbon...
  14. wood or carbon?

i have to agree with Carl on this one most top players use just plain wood blades, and there are enough of those that are very fast for amateur players , even very good ones , wood is the way to go , because less springy, more dwell, spin the arylate etc... has been added to the carbon blades...
  15. How a Table Tennis rubber is made (VIDEO)

Well eh, Andro just buys their rubbers at a company called ESN in Germany (like XIOM, Tibhar, Joola, Adidas). This video suggests that Andro has their own research and development team and also does production of the Rasant. Is this true ??? I dont think so !!! It is ESN that does the R&D and...
  16. Fake Table Tennis Rubbers?

i have to agree with Decoy on this list !
  17. Table Tennis Equipment

the Galaxy 896 blade is indeed a blade with a super excellent price/quality ratio !! i dont know the Dawei XP2008 super power rubber, but having seen Der Echte's backhand with it (the youtube film posted on this forum) , it seems totally OK !!! as for a cheap rubber tip for forehand i would...
  18. New rubbers.

hey nymose, i didn't want to be negative, but it is my experience that in trying the right rubber for my game , i have wasted already quite some money, and i am not the only one i am sure ! about aurus : i have tried an aurus soft (the medium version), and i found it to be clearly faster than...
  19. New rubbers.

WD40 is not smelly and the grease is attacking the rubber to get the tack back when needed. Try it before giving a comment please ! And please try a Genius before wasting more money on cheap chinese stuff, or just dont ask for advice anymore, if you just dont follow it !
  20. New rubbers.

i have to agree with Der Echte, you can't go wrong with the regular Genius (yellow sponge), i play for more than a year with an old Genius ( i had to revive the spin with WD40, and it reacts very well to this reviving method, one short spray on the rubber surface, and you can also use WD40 or...
