  1. WTT Star Contender Doha 2024

Togami still has problem with keeping the lead but at least he was decisive enough to close the set. As for Uda, I'm surprised to see him actively score with his bh against Lee yesterday
  2. Rxton 5 Pro

doesn't it mean the rubber allow booster penetrates easier thus more likely to react well?
  3. Rxton 5 Pro

the tackiness wears off quick so you don't need to worry about that, it's not even as tacky as my Sanwei Pro Blue
  4. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

Does anybody know when TV Tokyo will release the latest selection tournament match videos? I'm tired of them reposting old matches over and over again
  5. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

at best she can fight for a spot in LA 2026, but that means she'll have to compete against Miwa, Nagasaki and Kihara, who'll reach their peak performance beside the 00-line
  6. Rxton 5 Pro

After 5 hours practicing and playing with R5pro boosted, I'd say it's easier to play but has lower ceiling than my TPB. Its loxa sponge can bite the ball deeply and you get a clear feeling on topspin shots, at high power then it becomes somewhat "transparent" compare to the thick feeling I get...
  7. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

Again, Yokoi delivered a smoking hot match against Akae. Seems that Akae was able to win by forcing Yokoi to switch between fh-bh continuously and stretching her out
  8. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

most of the highlight only shows Yokoi's backhand ability, I wonder how was her forehand
  9. Rxton 5 Pro

I've just boosted my R5pro yesterday too, I'll try it out this afternoon to compare its performance to when it's unboosted
  10. Vendor says sticky protection films destroy tacky rubbers.

some of my ordered tacky rubber often comes with a protection film, I've been using them to protect my rubber and so far they've done their job well. It's worth noting that there're adhesive an non-adhesive ones, so for tacky rubber you should use non-adhesive film
  11. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

Hook serve is the easiest serve to be covered, WCQ often uses his body to block the view during serving motion.
  12. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

Uda did fine this time though, but Togami handed Xiang/Yuan the win. Forehand counter was unstable, his backhand was all over the place but he didn't even bother to pivot to improve the situation
  13. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

it's only until the 4th set that Harimoto started to actively put his forehand into play since his backhand couldn't fully contain Dima's powerful balls. His forehand counter hit rate has gone up but overall still very stiff
  14. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

yes, it caters towards both wings offensive, and also close table counter-topspin style
  15. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

Looks like compare to earlier gens like Ma Long, XX,... the young guns really have a shorter stroke. Their upper arm doesn't travel forward to let the lower arm completes the rest of the trajectory, whereas ML swings his whole arm forward along with folding the lower arm
  16. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

I think it's because of the mixed team tournament that they have to schedule this for early 2024
  17. Rxton 5 Pro

that's the charm of blue sponge lol
  18. Rxton 5 Pro

I tried my friend's Target Pro blue 39d unboosted and I'd say it's literal hell lmao. Dead feeling, you get some spin but almost no speed, topsheet can't grab the ball well on brush loop. That's why when I purchased mine I decided to boost it right away before playing.
  19. Rxton 5 Pro

First day impression of the Rxton 5 pro and some comparison with my boosted Sanwei Target Pro Blue - Forehand block and drive feels quite solid, R5 pro provides nice vibration when blocking - When doing forehand topspin, I feel like R5 pro doesn't require as much body engagement as pro blue. You...
  20. Rxton 5 Pro

according to the chart u sent earlier on, I suspect the tension is the same tech they used on euro/jap rubber (streching the topsheet?) and the hyper is the boosting treatment of the sponge
