  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

A little bit but I feel just as much work from my pinky to keep the whole racket in my hand
  2. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Its not really a conscious input for me, but for purposes of trying to remain relaxed when fh looping, I find that its actually just the pad/tip of my index finger that ends up feeling like its applying the pressure on my fh loop
  3. New Victas Long Pimples?

P6 is listed as 'out,' I wonder if its a new version or rerelease of Millitall.
  4. Different behaviour of a blade after a shock ?

This is the type of neck crack I'm talking about: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/crack-near-handle-how-to-fix.19243/ I've had it happen to me, however only with a blade that had a very narrow neck (Waldner Dicon JO shape) and thin allwood blades (Stiga Allround, Donic Defplay)
  5. Alternative to Dignics 09C

In a way. It's more like a mildly boosted Hurricane with a slight Euro feeling
  6. Different behaviour of a blade after a shock ?

Try bending the blade a little and see if the gluing at the top of the handle has failed a bit, or if there are any hairline fractures through the veneer near the neck of the blade.
  7. Alternative to Dignics 09C

C2 is a slightly different style of rubber compared to all of these, its harder and less bouncy with a bit more Hurricane behavior compared to K3 and V2C. C2 even less comparable to Hybrid MK, even MK Pro is much softer than C2 and plays much closer to a straight Euro style rubber. Havent tried C53
  8. Any European rubbers that can replace Hurricane?

Very similar imo, it's been a while since I played with either but from memory the Codexx was a bit stickier with slightly higher arc. But they look and play very nearly the same
  9. Xiom Vega China VM Review

Depends on what you want tbh. These older gen hybrids are pretty hard and actually pretty sticky compared to pretty much any hybrid (or "hybrid" like Nuzn which I wouldn't call it a hybrid either tbh), they have more characteristics I would say make them closer to Hurricane than more modern...
  10. Purple Long Pips for Chopping

I know you can also find 388D-2 and Saviga V in purple but I think 388D-1 is better for chopping. D-2 and Saviga V are better at chopblock/hit

How's the handle size difference between the Q?
  12. GAN reviews Rxton 9

I've had a few sheets of 40.5 that I had two decent layers of boost on, they domed and everything and boosting definitely made it faster, but I also thought it didn't have as much reaction to boost that Hurricane or even B2 does. I tried Seamoon nat yellow and kailin
  13. Recommendation for FH and BH rubbers

OP has said they found Vega Pro too hard, and also that they don't like sticky Chinese rubbers or heavy rubbers. I think that rules out Dragon Grip pretty well- even though its not particularly sticky, its much harder than VP, and its also not that light.
  14. Hybrid suggestions for someone coming from H3

I don't think its factory boosted, its just faster than H3. The tradeoff is that it doesn't pull on the ball as strongly or have as high a spin ceiling as H3 does, and the arc is noticeably lower even if it is pretty sticky
  15. Joola Hugo KL-C inner rubbers

I have Helix Platinum H and Mantra Pro H on mine right now, harder rubbers and softer rubbers did not feel as good to me
  16. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

I would lump K2 in with XVC/RZEH, there are differences but to me they all belong to the same lineage. I could make an educated guess on C55 because I have tried C52.5 but I havent actually used a sheet of C55 all to myself
  17. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

D09C but softer- Trinity Dynamic, JHC52.5 D09C but more Chinese- RZEH, Vega China, Codexx 54 D09C but more Euro- Bluegrip J1, Nuzn55 D09C but even more Euro- DragonPower52.5, V15Sticky, Bluestar A1 Not narrowed down too much. Maybe a low stickiness hybrid that is harder than O7P like DNA Hybrid...

If you want a more elastic Clipper I'd recommend the Stiga Pure if you have some spare cash. I love this blade and you can get it Cybershaped too. Cybershape Clipper is also an upgrade to the normal Clipper as well IMO
  19. Andro Legacy Wosik - Initial Thoughts

Handsome blade. Not too often you see companies releasing blades for players that have long since retired from world competition, I think last I remember was Victas releasing blades for Jiang Jialiang and Norio Takashima
  20. Fastarc G1 vs Mantra Pro H on backhand

I bought a sheet of Pro Galaxia recently because PaddlePalace started stocking it and they have an introduction sale, I don't think its that similar to Pro H, but it does have a distinctly Japanese feeling. I'd say it feels closer to what a Glayzer Hard version would be, if anything- firmer...
