  1. World #90 Iba Diaw loses to Unranked Female Opponent, Calls Cheating!

Might as well promote hardbat if we're going in the pickleball direction lol.... no spin, no athleticism, no power.... Top level TT with double inverted already has the max cool factor (Especially if WTT fixes the stupid af side view crap angle)
  2. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023

Yep +1. It is the same problem for all super close table players like Lin Yun Ju, Harimoto and Felix Lebrun. How do you solve for the fast balls coming to your middle or FH if you're that close to the table already? If you move farther from the table then you compromise on the BH speed which...
  3. Tenergy 05 Muacks! Luv you so much!

Yes, Dignics 05 is basically a superior product lol...
  4. World #90 Iba Diaw loses to Unranked Female Opponent, Calls Cheating!

I actually do much better against pips than I do against double inverted players who can just overwhelm me with spin/speed. But I still think pips which allows for imbalanced athletic requirements should be outright banned from the sport simply because we want table tennis to be more athletic...
  5. World #90 Iba Diaw loses to Unranked Female Opponent, Calls Cheating!

No joke but Zhou Xintong revealed in Fang Bo's 全世爆 sessions that she used to beat some CNT team A men's team players. Even Fang Bo was struggling af against her pips play (but won in the end). I also think pips should be banned outright because it doesn't promote an athletic style of play...
  6. Towel problems or a new trick ???

    Looks like it's extreme tackiness....
  7. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023

Yep but you gotta go through the 1st 5 balls to get to the later stages of the rally tho.... no one really gets the upper hand in the short game, serve/receive against Ma Long, he is the best at it. Imo Felix played too much push push with Ma Long... should have just chiquitaed everywhere to...
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

You need to know how to contact the bottom of the ball and still generate a lot of spin if you're facing against any kind of serious backspin.
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

There's a secret to the modern chiquita - they don't raise the elbow to drop the racket anymore. However, you can still do it the old way with the elbow raised and bat pointing downwards which produces a different combination of spin and speed than the modern type. now how does this work...
  10. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

That's because you don't chiquita extensively yet. Report back once you do lol, those extra grams can be a killer. But I agree with you on not relying on wrist. I personally think fingers + supination to be much more important in terms of spin production.
  11. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023

Wtf what did I miss?! I was away just for a day! FZD LJK and CM all losing on the same day?!
  12. Looking to improve my legs muscles

Imo bulgarian split squats are one of the best, and a lot of lunges. Even better, just shadow explosive TT footwork at home. A lot of it is not easy. Try simulating FH pivot on BH side - recover and then crossover step to deep FH side - recover and then do a BH and then pivot again. Rinse and...
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

If you mean the left foot split step after a BH loop to transition to a FH loop, it is very small and in fact often just stepping in place. At high speed rallying, time is of essence. But there is some degree of flexibility there in terms of placement of the left foot. The important part is to...
  14. Using H3 41 on my BH . . . .

Unboosted tacky rubber is really good for control and variation play but it's a playstyle that I hate playing with (i used to do a lot of it), and also doesn't tie into my chiquita/flick/loop strategy ie attack first and ask questions later which generally leads to lots of exciting fast spinny...
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

My footwork kinda sucks too but I've been practising a lot of it away from the table. It's something that you have to consciously practice in order to get good at it, and a lot of stuff isn't all that apparent at the first go. The fastest way to cover wide FH is the crossover step. The basics...
  16. Using H3 41 on my BH . . . .

Sounds a bit like the Hao Shuai dead BH which is really feared even in CNT circles....

The baseball technique x table tennis crossover that we needed!

Penholders don't have a middle weakness except for the RPB guys...Penhold wide BH (especially TPB) is the biggest weakness, but everyone already knows that...
