That BH serve into the FH short wide area is a killer if the other player only knows how to push. I also exploit the same placements heavily with my hook serve.

Tbh I think Dignics 09c which Boll used is much better at pushing, 05 is just plain bad in the short push. It's amazing how Harimoto makes it look easy. I think I will have to focus more on the quality and control of the deep fast push.

Short answer is no - you still have to overcome the backspin with the upper body. Contacting the side definitely helps but when the backspin is so high (ball pretty much is starting to go back) you have to lift it a lot during the chiquita. And if you lift too much against no spin or less...
