  1. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

Timo doesn't look to be in good form, lots of unforced errors and not very tight control of the ball... I think Dimitrij Ovtcharov looks much better, very dominating and powerful and unafraid to go for his shots, I think he has a realistic chance of getting a medal. Zhang Jike looks extremely...
  2. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

Bets $1000 that Zhang Jike will win this...
  3. Pain in my forearm

Even if I'm using a good and relaxed technique, the BH technique in general will put strain on the forearm. But everytime I recover from the soreness in the muscles I feel a lot stronger.
  4. The Mythical Double Bounce Loop

    Look at 2:26.... Enough said...
  5. Most recent tournament video...be kind...

Your serves are so good! On your serves, I think it's good that you have a lot of variety in your serves, but it would do you good to use just a few of them and really master them. I used to be like you, I could serve BH and FH tomahawk and pendulum, heavy underspin/nospin, reverse...
  6. Da Li's (WLQ) Basic Practice Drills and Techniques

Amazing FH! When he blasts his FH I don't think anyone in the world can handle that...
  7. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

    So is Olympic soccer...
  8. Drill Your Skills with China National Team

This is crazy... His pure underspin serve looks almost exactly like a sidespin serve, and the pendulum and reverse pendulum serves disguises the topspin/underspin component so well... crap... I need to learn that!
  9. Around The Net Fun-Compilation

    omg so much skill!
  10. Game Style )

lol he bullied the kid.... :( just joking... you and your opponent are quite good! Just need to work on consistency and footwork a bit more. My level is much lower than yours.
  11. Brazil Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Ryu will win this... Joo doesn't stand a chance against his monstrous FH
  12. How many loops do you hit in practice?

Totally agree, slow loops with no penetration is useless, it's much better to do 10 loops of very high quality rather than 100 loops where you're just returning the ball comfortably to your partner....all the top players ramp up the quality of their shots(high speed and spin) until the practice...
  13. Rainer87 matchvideo

Also look at this match. And how smooth the circle is, it's almost like doing a smooth 270 degree motion with your bat. He is basically just changing the trajectory for each shot. It's not so much forwards-backwards as everybody makes it sound.
  14. Rainer87 matchvideo

Hi Rainer, you really should see a few of this videos. at 2:50 Notice the recovery process(it's straight down instead of back the original way, helps you to relax and time the next shot a bit better) Look at how he relaxes and makes this awesome relaxed smooth anticlockwise motion(almost 180...
  15. FH retooling

Thanks to William Henzell for providing this video at 2:50 with a highly detailed video of Zhang Jike's efficient whole-table FH movement... This gave me a lot of inspiration, I think I've finally figured out through shadow play how to optimise the stroke(circular recovery + upper arm usage this...
  16. What game are you playing now?

    drawsomething! hahahahaa
  17. Education of Ma Long

I think he doesn't go to school(unless you mean table tennis school! haha) he really does table tennis full-time since young... been in the junior national team for quite a while I would say! He defeated Timo in 2005 when he was 15/16!
  18. Rainer87 matchvideo

Love your BH opening loop, it's so fluid and natural(and spinny too!), keep it up! I think you're kinda slapping the ball on your FH on the first video like PingPongPom here(a famous slapper here on this forum) which I think can be really great but you're probably better off with a loop instead...
  19. FH retooling

I'm won't try to argue with you here, look at my previous videos to see how readily I accept other people's comments, I also post on mytabletennis.net forums and you can see my other replies over there. I've already improved a lot as a result of these comments, so I have absolutely no ill...
