  1. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Nittaku Hayata H2 is inner ALC but with a longer headsize
  2. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

Harimoto's FH block tends to return high and slow, creating an instant kill.
  3. WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2023

The mens final will likely be WCQ vs ML or LGY. But I am hoping for an upset from the Lebrun brothers
  4. WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2023

I am glad Satoshi AIDA is playing, I like his play style.
  5. WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2023

The HK men's double is quite interesting - chopper + attacker. They managed to derail Liang/Yuan 3:1
  6. San Francisco looking for training partner.

I never risk playing commercial H3 on FH, BH is ok. A Chinese reviewer on Bilibili has tested a number of commercial H3 sheets. Despite the indicated hardness, the actual sponge hardness can vary by 1 degree, sometimes 2 degrees from what the package says. So potentially your 40 degree...
  7. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

Harimoto's core issue is his play style - almost everyone has analysed him and he has nothing else up his sleeve. Unlike Harimoto, if you play better close to table ML can exploit your short game or counter. Harimoto has a limited amount of techniques in his arsenals. But who knows, time will...
  8. FZD - will he be the next Wang Hao?

FZD had knee injury at the beginning of the year. I hope he will fully recover and come back smarter and stronger like Ma Long did after his surgery.
  9. FZD - will he be the next Wang Hao?

I am concerned because I want FZD to win the next Olympic 😄 which will likely be FZD vs WCQ. You never know how much more WCQ will improve in a year. And they know each other's play style really well
  10. Can you name some Chinese Hinoki blades?

You can check out this site from Taiwan. I've bought from them. A few smaller manufacturers make these blades at a lower price. American Hinoki blades Kiso Hinoki blades
  11. -

Thanks for the review. They represent two different play styles. In the club level it seems more people are using Viscaria variants. In the professional leagues, it seems more are using the HL5 variants.
  12. FZD - will he be the next Wang Hao?

After the mens single final in Hangzhou, Chinese professional tt players had done some analysis on the match. What got my attention is a pattern in FZD’s achievement: Silver in Tokyo Olympic Silver in Asian Champ Silver in Asian Games It almost felt like in 2011. Wang Hao was choked between...
  13. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

I've been saying for months. WCQ to FZD is almost like ZJK to Wang Hao. When Ma Long is not playing in the next Olympic, FZD is now facing the roaring WCQ fast improving. Just like 2011.
  14. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

FZD caught 6 points in a row, amazing mentality and intellect
  15. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

FZD is showing tough mental strength!
  16. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

G09 is durable no doubt. What the reviewer was saying is, for $50USD at his performance, there are so many other equivalent competitors for less $$. But nothing can compete with D09C full stop.
  17. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

G09C got a pretty bad review in China due to the sponge issue. Apparently the sponge is pretty dead
  18. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

At the age of 32 he's played really well. I was expecting 1-4 or even 0-4
  19. 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

    Starting 19:45 Beijing time
  20. Looking for a detailed difference between K3 and 09C?

I bought it secondhand from the UK in early 2022. It’s on one of my W968. I only play 3-6 hours a week and after 18 months it’s still tacky and grippy. The sponge still has good catapult feel, I would say the sponge is performing at 80% compared to 18 months ago
