  1. ITTF Finals 2020

I wish they will go into the 7th set. But FZD's on steroid. His mid distance rally has improved so much.
  2. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Is this the old stock? Apparently it is as good as Butterfly's
  3. ITTF Finals 2020

    Harimoto vs Jang!!!![emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33]
  4. Blade to start in penholder?

It looks like you generates lots of power. Good news!! You should try a H3 on FH in the future.
  5. Dhs h3n/h3 vs tg2/tg3 difference?

According to the consensus of a lot of Chinese players: Spin: TG2>H3>TG3 Power (single one off power shot): TG2>H3>TG3 Power required by player: TG2>H3>TG3 Best for repeated loops: TG3>H3>TG2 Short game handling: TG2>H3=TG3 As you can see, TG2 is a specialised rubber I have played for many...
  6. Penholders what is your choice for bh rubber!

Hard blade (ALC or hardwood)- TG3-60 or boosted H3 39 degree Softer blade (e.g. Korbel) - TG3-60 or T64 I still prefer TG3-60. I am in a process of boosting a commercial H3 and will test it on my BH.
  7. Men's World Cup 2020

So many matches went into the 7th game. What a high quality world cup. I feel that everyone was giving their 130% after a long drought of tournaments.
  8. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

Yes tacky rubbers are not for the faint hearted. It makes you breathless more often. You sweat more. But you will grow stronger and faster. The quality of your shots will go up over time. Give it a go. Nothing to lose.
  9. Blade to start in penholder?

If you are used to Long V you can get a Fang Bo ALC or H301. They are both inner ALX similar to Long V. However, I find that I prefer outer alc when playing PH as you will find that you trade some power for flexibility in PH.
  10. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

I agree. My last statement was partially true. Many rubber can beat a 39 H3. But with 40-41 degree hardness and proper technique, H3 reign in spin and crazy low second bounce.
  11. Switch to Chinese rubbers?

Get a commercial Neo H3 for $20. It will get you started. Nothing come close to H3 spin.
  12. Men's World Cup 2020

I just watched the Rio Olympic MS Final. Ma Long was more muscular back then. It explains why his shot is slower and of lower quality as compared to his prime time. In contrast, sure any boy would grow more muscular in their teen years. Harimoto will surely post a threat to the Chinese within...
  13. Blade to start in penholder?

That’s true. I am a penholder. Changed to SH and now back to PH. PH style requires a high level of technique and mentality in match. To succeed you will need a fair amount of regular coaching
  14. Want To Try New Rubbers For RPB

I use TG3-60 on my RPB. I like tacky rubber on BH for two reasons: 1- my fingers grip better due to tackiness. 2- better control than tensor. I am FH oriented so I am after consistency on BH. Tacky rubber is more consistent
  15. Different versions os H3

There are just too many options. Tell us your style, blade and level ad we can recommend one. That way is a lot easier.
  16. Alternative rubbers for H3(boosted)

This is a similar topic to “Finding Tenergy alternative “. The short answer is NO. Some alternative such as Vega China, Tibhar K series can achieve 90% of boosted Hurricane. But nothing can play like boosted Hurricane, full stop.
  17. Women's World Cup 2020

So nice to see the restart of international tournament!!! Chen Meng's FH seems almost as powerful as men's. Glad to see all the familiar faces together in one tournament.
  18. Tenergy and cheap chinese non tacky rubber

To satisfy my curiosity, I had been searching for a Tenergy alternative for years!! I've tried MXP, MXS, R7, R7 soft, Vega Pro, Vega Europe, Vega Asia, Rasanter R48, R53 etc. I can tell you NOTHING, NOTHING can mimic the feel, spin and speed of tenergy. The closest that can come close to Tenergy...
  19. Hurricane 3 or Hurricane 3 NEO for boosting?

Falco Long won't work well. Haifu seamon is what everyone in China uses on H3 and TG2.
  20. Need help with new RPB rubber!

Among the rubbers on your list I have only played with Snipe 3 and AK47. Snipe 3 has more grip on topsheet = better for topspin and service.
