My beloved Hans Alser OC is half dead (top ply peeled off). So i have been looking for a blade with similar characters - flexible with springy strong kick. I got my OC at a good price. Ok thank you. What about the core? I found a lot of blades have spruce as the medial layer. They have different core. What wood in the core would suit a dynamic flexible feel with a springy strong kick when looping?

  14. Seeking replacement for Hans Alser OC

Hi i have been enjoying my old Stiga Hans Alser OC. I love the flex and soft feel. But the blade has a strong springy kick which helped looping a lot. My game has improved so much due to the much higher consistency and spin. Unfortunately the top ply got peeled off while changing rubbers. Not...
  15. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Welcome to the group. It's never too late to start. If you put in the effort and time you will improve quickly. It might not be a valid comparison. Wong Chun Ting from Hong Kong didn't start professional training until the age of 18. He is now the second best penholder after Xu Xin. Sent from...
