Pretty much the same location of pain.
The pain has gone after switching to SH. My shot is more stable probably due to the more stable grip. But i do miss PH though. The serve, in table tricks, flicks and side spin.
I still play PH for fun sometimes.

Hi Jeff glad to read your story.
I am a FH orientrd looper. I played aggressive game with PH grip. My index finger would hurt after 3 games and the pain detrimentally affect the quality of my shots.
I brought a SH to my club one night and used that when my finger was hitting too much. Wow the...
If you put in 40% strength, you get a speed of 6 from H3 and 8 from Vega Pro. That's what people mean when they said Hurricane is "slow".
But when you put in 80% H3 can produce speed and spin that surpass Tenergy05.
Most people don't bother coz H3 can tire them out.
I play H3 coz it brings...
Stick to DHS rubber. Any rubber with the word Neo has been pre boosted.
TG3 has a bit more control but less spin than Hurricane 3. TG3 can be a good starter.

Hurricane rubbers have very high consistency. Spinning the ball becomes more consistent when the ball doesn't sink into the sponge too much - i.e. harder topsheet would be more linear than aofter top sheet.
But the downside is that hurricane is slower on hitting despite boosting.

Hurricane provincial 37 degree hardness full stop.
Don't buy H3-50 because DHS has made the newer batches far less tacky = poor short game.

It depends on his style of play. SFBE is quite thick and might cause some issues for RPB especially banana flick.
As a penholder the main weapon is FH. I wouldn't recommend Vega Japan for FH as its spin/speed is too low. Vega pro and O7E are a good options.

Another observation, the CNT still hasn't figured out Harimoto's serve. Ma Long, ZJK, XX, FZD and Zhao all returned his serve pretty high.

Exactly.
People who lose to Harimoto are the one trying to break his BH. TBH Harimoto's BH is among the most consistent and most brutal in the world.

Yes please that would be great!! I am also interested to know whether VK has a thicker core than Korbel. I am looking at buying VK but I am not sure if it is less flexible compared to Korbel.
